We beginnen onze reis vanuit het centrum van Alicante in een comfortabele auto. Tijdens een korte tocht van 20 tot 30 minuten geniet je van prachtige uitzichten op de bergen. Het hoogtepunt van onze reis is een rondleiding door de Canelobre-grot, die meer dan 100.000 jaar oud is. Om er te komen gaan we door een tunnel van ongeveer 45 meter. Samen met een gids in het Engels en Spaans reizen we naar het verleden. We zullen ontdekken hoe water en rotsen aanleiding hebben gegeven tot indrukwekkende vormen zoals stalactieten, stalagmieten, zuilen en kwallen, en vele andere. We zullen weten waar de naam van de grot vandaan komt en wat het woord 'canelobre' betekent. Na de rondleiding kun je een steenambachtswinkel bezoeken om wat cadeaus voor jezelf of je gezin uit te zoeken

Een wandeling door het historische centrum van het authentieke stadje Busot, langs een oude kathedraal.

The transportation element of the tour is the most important part, as this site is off the beaten track. The tour of the cave itself is given by representatives of the cave, not the tour operator. After the 1-hour tour in the cave, which the representative gave in both Spanish and English, our tour operator took us into the town of Busot and shared a few facts about it before walking us to the Museum of Ethnic Instruments, where we self-guided ourselves around this interesting, well-appointed museum. Afterwards, we were instructed to take as much time as we wanted to wander around the town. It would have been helpful to have had a map with a route identified to follow with landmarks so that we could appreciate the beauty of this charming town. Overall, this was one of the most basic tours we've ever taken, and we were underwhelmed by it even though the cave itself was spectacular.
Dear David! Thanks for your review, although critical. We are glad that you liked the cave and our transport service. In the village of Busot, you asked for extra time to walk around the village. You were given an additional time that you could inspect the beautiful Spanish village. This extra time was not part of the tour program. While you walked around the village, our driver was waiting for you and it was free for you. Since an extra walk is not included in the tour program - you were not provided with a village map.
It was a great experience, and quick drive from Alicante to the amazing cave, then to a small village music museum.

Completely useless visit. The cellars are lit by spots of color. No more or less 40 minutes of inaudible guide and forbidden photos!!! Go your way. The guide speaks very little or no English.
