Tijdens deze 105 minuten durende begeleide ervaring verken je de rivier de Tárcoles aan boord van een veilige en comfortabele boot terwijl je leert over de rijke biodiversiteit van dit unieke ecosysteem. Tijdens de reis heeft u de mogelijkheid om indrukwekkende Amerikaanse krokodillen te observeren, sommige tot meer dan 4 meter lang, evenals een grote verscheidenheid aan tropische vogels en ander wild langs de rivieroevers en mangroven. Deze tour omvat rolstoeltoegankelijke faciliteiten, een eigen parkeerplaats en gastvrije tuinen om een comfortabel en aangenaam bezoek voor alle gasten te garanderen.

Bij aankomst worden de gasten verwelkomd door ons personeel en begeleid naar de opstapplaats aan de Tárcoles River dock. Een gecertificeerde lokale Gids zal een korte veiligheidsintroductie geven voordat u aan boord gaat van de boot. Eenmaal aan boord begint u aan een 105 minuten durende begeleide boottocht langs de rivier de Tárcoles, een van de beroemdste krokodillenhabitats in Costa Rica. Tijdens de ervaring navigeert uw Gids door mangroven en rivierecosystemen terwijl hij Amerikaanse krokodillen, leguanen en een grote verscheidenheid aan tropische vogels aanwijst. De boot beweegt in een comfortabel tempo, waardoor gasten de wilde dieren van dichtbij kunnen observeren en fotograferen in zijn natuurlijke habitat. Tijdens de tour zal uw Gids informatie over het ecosysteem delen en zorgen voor een veilige en plezierige eco-tour ervaring. Aan het einde van de tour keert de boot terug naar de steiger waar de gasten van boord gaan.

Pleasant and professional guidance. Free drinks (coffee and mango juice) before and after the tour. Nice sitting area near the gift shop.
This trip was amazing. Our guide was i formative and comical. He found lots of crocodiles and birds. The driver of the boat pulled close enough that we could’ve reached out and touched them (of course you can’t). He gave her stories about many of the crocodiles we saw. We paid extra for transportation and the driver was on time.

I saw more animals during this tour than during a walk in the jungle, all while being seated. The guide was helpful and funny, it's priced well.
First I want to thank the staff for being very accommodating to my wife and I. We drove from La Fortuna, expecting a drive of 3.5 hours. We allowed for an extra hour but the drive actually took over 5 hours due to many delays on the road. Obviously, we missed our appointed tour time and couldn’t wait around for the next one. The manager on duty that day worked it out for us to go on a “shorter” tour right away and we were able to go out with just a tour guide (Jari??) and boat driver (Stephen) and the two of us. It was great. We saw many varieties of birds and a bunch of crocs, including two of the three largest males on that section of the Tarcoles river. The males are huge! We did not go as far as the Tarcoles bridge, but we were able to go all the way to the mouth of the Tarcoles, as well as a mangrove cove. We saw a group of spoonbills in that area. We would highly recommend this tour.
