Geniet van deze 1,5 uur durende paardrijtocht op het platteland op je lieve paarden. Deze tour is een ontspannende optie terwijl je geniet van je tijd weg van de drukte en gewoon geniet van de prachtige trailrit: open savanne-, jungle- en rivierpaden. Je krijgt de kans om exotische wilde fruitbomen te zien en de mogelijkheid om wat dieren in het wild te zien. Ruiters moeten zelfstandig of met minimale hulp kunnen op- en afstappen. GEWICHTSLIMIET: 260 lbs per rijder (moet ons de leeftijd en het gewicht van elke rijder laten weten)

Je gids / wrangler zal je ontmoeten in je hotel en je meenemen naar St Leonard's Stable, waar je je rijhelm, water krijgt en je paard ontmoet en instructies krijgt voor je rit. Eenmaal op je zadel, rijd je door open savanne-, jungle- en rivierpaden op onze familieboerderij - oud land met een paar Maya-structuren, een paar runderen, af en toe dieren in het wild en vogels om je rit te verlichten. Perfect voor alle rijders: beginnende, beginnende en ervaren rijders.
ALLEEN voor ACTUNKAN farm ride (ongeveer 2-4 uur) Ben je klaar om een rivier te doorwaden en door de ongerepte jungle te trekken? Droom je ervan om een verborgen oude Mayatempel te beklimmen die 100 voet boven het bladerdak uittorent? Als je antwoord volmondig ja is, dan is deze spannende tour perfect voor jou! Verleg je grenzen en dompel jezelf onder in de natuur tijdens dit opwindende avontuur. Kies ervoor om het terrein te paard/te voet te doorkruisen en begin aan een tocht van 1,5 uur heen en terug naar de majestueuze Mayaruïnes van Actun Kan. Deze site, ooit het hoogtepunt van de Mopan River-vallei tijdens de vroege klassieke periode, herbergt talloze geheimen die wachten om ontdekt te worden. Je vriendelijke gids ontrafelt de rijke geschiedenis van Actun Kan en benadrukt fascinerende bezienswaardigheden langs de weg. Wonderful trip. Riding through the farm and along the river was great. Carla was incredible. She was very knowledgeable, pointing out plants and animals, while sharing stories. We even got to see a family of Howler monkeys, which was fun. It was beautiful and peaceful, but the best part was Carla. It was my daughter’s first time riding. Carla was very patient and careful to make sure my daughter was ok. She coached her through the whole ride and assured her she would dismount her own horse and walk along side my daughter’s horse if she felt uncomfortable. My daughter, however, quickly felt comfortable and wanted the ride to last even longer. She absolutely loved it! It is definitely a memory she will not soon forget, thank you Carla!

Horseback riding with Miguel was so much fun! He took us all around the jungle and was an excellent tour guide! The horses we big, beautiful, and well trained. Clara, the owner, was very responsive and flexible with our booking time

Memorable trip! We had a mixed group - kid, youth, adults, mostly beginners and a seasoned rider. Carla, Rudy and Mary took good care of us and really made sure we’d be safe and comfortable, and they are wonderful conversationalists. Love how they paired us with the horses and loved the trail+views. Will be back and plan to do other tours with them when family/friends from abroad visit.

Second time taking my kids on this horse farm ride (ages 13 and 4). It was a beautiful trip. We took a ride by the river and through a field of cows. A few howler monkeys were in the trees as we were riding by. Great experience both times. It is a slow paced ride and the tour guide Mrs. Carla is the sweetest most pleasant person to have. She is very knowledgeable about the area and surroundings. She knows her horses well. I would definitely go again when my youngest is a little older to be able to ride his own horse.
