Begin aan een buitengewone reis vanuit Interlaken en neem de Eiger Express naar Jungfraujoch, de 'Top van Europa'. Verken onder begeleiding van een privégids de wonderen van Jungfraujoch, van het Sphinx Observatorium tot het IJspaleis. Het avontuur gaat verder met een mooie terugkeer via Kleine Scheidegg en Lauterbrunnen, waar je gids de schoonheid van de Zwitserse Alpen ontrafelt. Op station Interlaken Ost start u de tocht met de Jungfrau-trein voor een overstap van 25 minuten door het dal richting Grindelwald.
Bij Grindelwald Terminal begint de reis naar Jungfraujoch. U stapt aan boord van de kabelbaan voor de schilderachtige rit naar station Eigergletscher.
Op station Eigergletscher heeft u de mogelijkheid om een eerste blik te werpen op de Alpen en op het permanente ijs. Hier stap je over op de tandradtrein naar Jungfraujoch
Bij Jungfraujoch neemt je gids je mee op een rondreis van een uur met verschillende bezienswaardigheden. Het bevat de Alpensensatietentoonstelling, de Sphinx-terrassen, het ijspaleis en het uitkijkplatform, waar je de sneeuw in kunt stappen.
Bezoek het uitkijkplatform bij het Sfinx-observatorium.
Bezoek het ijspaleis met de ijssculpturen.
Verzacht uw verblijf met een bezoek aan de chocolaterie.
Uw terugreis begint met de tandradtrein van Jungfraujoch naar Kleine Scheidegg. Vanaf daar gaat u verder richting Wengen.
Terwijl u met de tandradtrein naar Lauterbrunnen reist, passeert u het alpendorp Wengen.
Een korte stop bij Lauterbrunnen geeft u uitzicht op het dorp en de Staubbach-waterval.
Terugkeren naar Interlaken waar de tour eindigt

We spent the most wonderful day with our private tour guide. We were paired perfectly with Christoph who loved history and geography as much as we did. This private tour gives you all the best experiences of this part of Switzerland (Interlaken,Grindewald, Jungfraujoch etc. You experience train rides, gondola rides that take you above the clouds, glaciers, an ice palace, a snow bar, and of course the Top of Europe. Its a full round trip experience with a personal guide that knows the best routes, stops, and exactly how it all originated. This wasn't just a personal tour...this was an experience! We highly recommend going in the early Fall as the pines are changing colors and its an incredible addition to the snow capped mountains and Glaciers.
Very weather dependent, we were lucky and lots of sunshine, a beautiful experience, you can see that the glaciers are receding and the eternal ice is not eternal. Advisable to visit during the week and as early as possible in the morning. A guide saves the need to ask when to go where and leads to a relaxed day trip.
The guide was excellent. However in the viator website it did not mention that we will be using public transport and walking the full 8 hour tour. I would have preferred a car to pick us up and take us to the closest spot ..to take the train to jungfrau.. and have the car come and pick us up at the next train spot. It also mentioned that we will be seeing grindelwald ( which we did not ) ..
Our trip was fantastic. Fortunately we had sunny weather and the views were breathtaking. Our guide, Robbie, did a great job guiding us and offering interesting facts.

Adrian was our tour guide and he was fantastic. His is very personable and knowledgeable. He made it one of our best tours in Switzerland. If you want to take this tour, ask for Adrian. You won’t be disappointed.
This was an incredible adventure. We had a first class tour, Ulrich was absolutely wonderful. He arrive at our apartment and met us there. We then took the train, gondola and cog train up the Jungfrau mountain. Stunning views in all directions. I booked the tour online from New Zealand, got email confirmation at the time. Everything went extremely well and smoothly, thank you. Trust the system 😀 We had a very memorable tour lunch at the top, a blizzard from Germany made a great back drop for lunch, and a warming congac. Thank you Ulrich, your are awesome.
