Captain Claire and Naturalist Autumn were great for our whale watching adventure. Lots of good information and a few sketchy dad jokes mixed in. They knew where whales were, what they were doing, and relevant information that educated us all. They are passionate about marine life and it shows. 100% recommend!
The whale watching portion with Amanda and Matt was incredible. The whales didn’t breach but we did see a few. After that, the experience went downhill. Our van driver never showed up and we didn’t get to attend the salmon bake. We need a partial refund for five people!
The whale watching was excellent! Our naturalist and captain got us to see quite a bit of whales. Just so beautiful to be out on a sunny day! The salmon back was OK, was disappointed in the salmon. Did not like the very smokey taste. Liked the ribs better! Everything else was good.
Captain Matt and Autumn were the best tour guides! They were knowledgeable, entertaining, and enthusiastic! We were able to see several whales and learned a great deal about the species and the local area. Thank you.
Autumn was a great wildlife guide. She was very passionate, kind and knowledgeable about her Ecosystem. She provided lots of information about the whales and Orcas we saw. The captain was also very good at finding the animals for us to see. Bring your binoculars and don't forget to take pictures, which is what I did because I was so enthralled with the view. Plus a money back guarantee if you don't see whales pretty sweet. The waterfall was amazing at the Salmon bake buffet. The food was good too. I highly recommend taking this excursion you won't regret it. Holly from Florida
Had a great experience Whale Watching with Claire and Matt. Both were very knowledgeable about marine life. They were patient and skilled with boat driving.we has a wonderful time overall. They even stop by Mendenhl Glacier for us to take photos. We were able to see whales and sea lions. Great adventure overall.
We had a great time with autumn and Captain Lee, we saw humpback whales, sea lions, bald eagles, and learned a lot about the wildlife here in Alaska. Autumn gave us some great information about how do I identify the whales and even introduced us to which ones we were seeing!
The guides are great at spotting whales.. we got a lot of great pix and videos. The salmon bake was real good too. We feel the price for this excursion was a bit high, and has to be essentially booked months in advance, and is non refundable, but I get the fact that this is very popular and it is what it is. All in all STILL 5 star review.. well done
Needs and Captain Mike were outstanding. Neesa was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Captain Mike kept us on the quakes and provided a smooth ride with a bit of support from nature. Would recommend this tour to new and seasoned whale watchers alike.
Charles was our driver. Friendly and informative!
