Jozani Forest ligt in het zuiden van het eiland en is het grootste volwassen bosgebied van Zanzibar. Een auto brengt je erheen en onze ervaren gids wandelt met je door het eeuwenoude hardhoutbos en de mangrovemoerassen. Het is ook de thuisbasis van de Red Colobus-apen, uniek voor Zanzibar, met minder dan 2000 overgebleven in de wereld. Een boardwalk rond het mangrovemoeras aan het einde van de tour, waar je klaar bent om die 3 belangrijkste delen van het bos te leren en te zien. Daarna neemt onze chauffeur je samen met onze gids mee naar het beste Spice-bedrijf. Waar Deze tour biedt je de mogelijkheid om erachter te komen waarom Zanzibar bekend staat als het 'Kruideneiland'. Je wordt naar een Spice Farm gereden waar vriendelijke en goed geïnformeerde gidsen je begeleiden tijdens een wandeltocht. Tijdens de rondleiding zie, ruik en proef je verschillende kruiden en leer je hoe ze worden verbouwd. De Spice Tour eindigt met een lunch van Pilau-rijst, op smaak gebracht met veel van de kruiden waarover je hebt geleerd.

Een auto zal je daarheen brengen en een gids zal je rondleiden door de oude hardhoutbossen en mangrovemoerassen. Het is ook de thuisbasis van de Red Colobus-apen, uniek voor Zanzibar, met minder dan 2000 over de hele wereld. Aan het einde van de tocht is er een bord met een wandeling rond het mangrovemoeras en een bezoek aan het reuzenschildpaddenreservaat.

Excellent tour!! Our driver was prompt and courteous. The guide at Jozani was very knowledgeable and interesting. The spice tour was also exceptional. Lots of great information, they served us a delicious lunch and we finished the tour with tons of fresh fruit. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

I really enjoyed my stay in Zanzibar thanks to the many activities I was able to do, everything always went very well and very well organized. I was able to swim with dolphins, do the blue safari, discover many things at Jozani Forest and Spice Farm, I also had the chance to see lions at the Safari, swim with turtles and enjoy this turquoise blue water and its white sands. It was beautiful to walk in a red mahogany forest and to see the red colobus monkeys in their habitat. The spice tour was fun and incredibly informative!

It was very nice and Mata the guide was great. The only thing to complain about was that we were picked up 45 minutes late.

Our driver was very nice, picked us up and drove us around to both experiences. Our guide at the spice farm was extremely friendly making jokes, telling stories and asking for tips like everyone does around here. The Jozani forest was very interesting and exotic and we met a lot of monkeys.

Both destinations were nice and worth visiting. The spice tour was wonderful. Nice hike, very informative. Guide was extremely knowledgeable. And assistant made beautiful "jewelry" out of flowers and leaves.

Amazing. I paid for a private tour as I wanted a more intimate experience. The day was great, from learning about and see the monkeys to the spices on the spice farm. I had a wonderful time. The guides were so informative and I learnt so much. I would highly recommend

Not worth the money to go there. The tour was too short for what we paid. Only saw a few monkeys, most of which where high on the trees. The worst thing is that our guide seemed to be aware that there's not much to see and would go and give us useless information about voodoo people that turn into donkeys and this kind of bs on order to make the tour last a little longer.
Dear Customer,we’re very sorry for that,but in exact case the guide has to show u and explain everything about the nature ,in monkeys party are moving from one place to another whenever you see the group on that day that’s are the monkeys group to see during your tour because it’s nature ,they are freelance to move,is not zoo it it’s a park so they can move ,about voodoo normally in a historic of Zanzibar and most of Africa there voodoos so that during the night at the time they used a forest place during the night for Voodoos a place,which is for this time there no longer any more not that those information our guide has to explain so that u get acknowledge about what we zanzibar had for that time .
