We kunnen bespreken hoe dat eruit ziet als je op dit moment besluit om een wandeling van 10 uur te boeken.*** Ga mee op een spannend avontuur in de prachtige landschappen van Joshua Tree, CA, USA. Verken de diverse flora en fauna die dit unieke woestijnecosysteem thuis noemen en leer ook wat over geologie. Onder leiding van een gecertificeerde California Naturalist die je meeneemt op een reis door de woestijn en je onderweg wijst op interessante planten, dieren en geologische formaties. Maak je klaar om versteld te staan van de natuurlijke schoonheid van Joshua Tree! De wandeling is ongeveer 2 mijl heen en terug. Hoewel het grootste deel van de wandeling vlak is, moet je voorbereid zijn om zanderig, grindig en licht heuvelachtig terrein te bewandelen. Midweektours hebben vaak maar één groep/familie dus je kunt een privétour krijgen! Let op : Alle aanwezigen moeten een vrijwaringsformulier ondertekenen om aanwezig te kunnen zijn. Tijdens deze wandeling zullen we: *Verkrijg een beter begrip van de geologische formaties van Joshua Tree * Leer meer over meer dan drie dozijn belangrijke plantensoorten, waaronder hun gebruik door inheemse Amerikanen, hoe ze evolueerden en waarom ze belangrijk zijn voor de biotische gemeenschap in de woestijn. *Ontdek de habitats en kenmerken van belangrijke Mojave diersoorten. * Bust Joshua Tree mythes! ++vergadertijd kan worden gewijzigd als er op dat moment gids beschikbaar is.

Fantastic experience. Sharon was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and especially the plant life. I guess I booked during a time that wasn't too popular because it was just me. I felt like a had a private tour! Would definitely recommend!

This guided walk was a great way to learn about the plants and animals in the park. Sharon was in communication prior to meeting up, and answered last minute questions promptly. We learned quite a bit on our walk. It was educational, not exercise, so set expectations accordingly. It was a great way to start our visit in Joshua Tree.

We enjoyed this walk through the desert with Sharon, who explained the local desert geology, life cycle of the Joshua trees, identified flowers and animal scat and lizards and anything else that we came across. The trail was sand or packed sand and the walk was not strenuous. Our group was small so there was time for lots of questions and conversation. I think this was an excellent introduction to the area. The guide also had information about other places in the area to visit and things to do.

Sharon was a great guide, she was very knowledgeable and informative. The area was beautiful and unique area to explore. We are in our mid-60s and had no issues keeping up.
