De geschiedenis van Joden in Oslo en Noorwegen is kort en onderscheidend. Deze tour is ook ongebruikelijk omdat het het grootste deel van de geschiedenis op één straat behandelt. We beginnen voor de locatie waar de eerste Joodse familie zich in Oslo vestigde en vervolgen de weg naar de hoofdstraat Karl Johan. De straat was altijd bruisend van activiteit, en het is geen verrassing dat Joodse zakenlieden er ook winkels openden. Monumenten, het parlementsgebouw en zelfs de belangrijkste kerk van de stad hebben allemaal een zekere band met de Joodse geschiedenis. Stel je voor dat zelfs de Koninklijke familie iets gemeen heeft met een Joodse jongen uit Tunesië. De tour gaat gepaard met veel beeldmateriaal en verhalen uit de Joodse gemeenschap van Oslo. Tour eindigt bij de synagoge. Helaas is het niet altijd mogelijk om het te bezoeken. De wandeling van het Paleis naar de synagoge kan een uitdaging zijn. Geen zorgen, er is een mogelijkheid om een bus te nemen (tickets zijn niet inbegrepen). Als uw voorkeursdatum niet beschikbaar is, stuur dan een bericht met uw voorkeur tourtijd.

If we could give Rami a 6 or 7, we would gladly do so. We cannot say enough positive things about how much we learned on our tour today and how much we enjoyed Rami’s ability to bring the stories he shared to life with pictures and places he pointed out. I have taken Jewish focused tours in many cities throughout Europe and this was truly one of the best. We very much appreciated being able to visit the synagogue during our tour. I did my homework in advance and saw only positive reviews and now I know why firsthand. Rami is an excellent tour guide.
This visit was magnificently interesting. Our guide, Rami, is a very friendly person, but he also proved to be very professional and particularly knowledgeable about his subject. We were treated to a very informative and fascinating visit.

Oslo Photo Tour I had the chance to have a photo tour during my visit here in Oslo. Rami is a very knowledgeable guide and not only that he knows interesting, non-touristy spots, but he also knew a lot about photography techniques. I am so glad to have this photo walk because I could learn a few things about Oslo (culture, history) and also photography (composition). Highly recommended for those who’d like to experience Oslo in an interesting way.
