We zullen de volgende Joodse locaties bezoeken en ik zal fascinerende verhalen van Joden en hun erfgoed in Mumbai en andere hoogtepunten in Mumbai overbrengen.

tijdens deze joodse tour door Mumbai zullen we Sassoon Docks bezoeken (een vissersbootdorp en -dok waar 40% van de Indiase vis wordt gevangen. Kenneseth Eliyahoo-synagoge, met een ongelooflijk blauw interieur en exterieur vol met boeken te koop over Joodse cultuur. David Sassoon Library, waar we het dek zullen bezoeken om een geweldig uitzicht te krijgen op het Fort District van Mumbai. Shaar Harahamim of Gate of Mercy Synagogue, gebouwd in 1796, de oudste synagoge van Mumbai. Magen David Synagogue, en de Sassoon Children's school. We rijden ook langs andere bezienswaardigheden van Mumbai, zoals: Victoria Terminus (een ongelooflijk mooi Sarascenisch gebouw), Crawford Market, Dhobi Ghat (de grootste openluchtwasserij ter wereld!) Marine Drive (de ketting van de koninginnen), Flora Fountain, enz. Als we de tijd hebben en alleen als je geïnteresseerd bent, zullen we Victoria Terminus bezoeken, het UNESCO-erfgoed waar dagelijks meer dan een miljoen mensen hun trein nemen.

This was an outstanding tour of Kochi and Kerala’s Jewish Heritage . We covered so much history from Synagogues to Cemeteries and from Spice markets to dining on the freshest and tastiest fish .We enjoyed home hospitality and had cooking lessons that span traditions and tastes . We heard music and watched classical dancing . We were met at the airport and delivered to destination in supreme comfort . We were never rushed and nothing was too much to ask . Very professional outfit that creates a programme and then delivers it . Then there is Lijo . The man behind it all . A perfectionist that personally supervise a team of outstanding professionals Don’t look anywhere else . This is it for anything India
The visit to the Sinagog The guide knows how to explain But I would like a guide with more information
We just came back from a cruise that stopped in Mumbai/Bombay. We took a private ( just the two of us plus our guide) four hour tour of the Jewish areas of Mumbai. We visited one ornate Sephardic synagogue still in use along with other areas of Jewish interests. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with us. I highly recommend this private tour
