Het Voortrekker Monument ligt net ten zuiden van Pretoria in Zuid-Afrika. Dit massieve granieten bouwwerk staat prominent op een heuveltop en werd opgericht ter herdenking van de Voortrekkers die tussen 1835 en 1854 de Kaapkolonie verlieten.
. Het laatste huis waarin president Paul Kruger woonde, tussen 1883 en 1901, voordat hij Zuid-Afrika verliet om in ballingschap te gaan in Europa, het Kruger House Museum ligt op slechts een paar blokken van het Kerkplein, waar zijn bronzen beeld centraal staat tegenover het Paleis van Justitie
Mandela House Museum is een van de beste attracties om te bezoeken in Soweto. We zullen ongeveer 45 minuten besteden aan het leren over deze historische plek
De vakbondsgebouwen herbergen het kantoor van de president van Zuid-Afrika en het is een nationaal monument dat dateert uit de eerste democratische verkiezingen in 1994. We zullen ongeveer 20 minuten op deze plek doorbrengen om foto's te maken en de prachtige stad Pretoria op de achtergrond te zien.

An excellent trip, rich in culture and history. It’s a great way to see these beautiful cities if you’re short on time. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing details that only a local could provide. It was well worth it.
It was an intense day, full of history, beautiful scenes and a lot of learning. The tour is ideal for those who have little time in the city, but it is exhausting. It was not possible to complete the part of Johannesburg, the day began in Pretoria and ended in Soweto. Still, I put 5 stars for what was possible to see and for the guide.
Our guide Marvin was amazing! Really friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to make our trip the best. What a great day it was because of it!

A great tour that will gives a balanced vision of history with plenty of time to takes pictures and learn a lot. I was guided by Mike who is very knowledgeable and friendly. He dropped me right at the airport at the end of the day which made my last day in South Africa easy to manage.

This tour was hands down one of the best decisions I made in South Africa. It was just me and my guide, Marvin, which made the experience personal, intimate, and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to truly understand the history and culture of South Africa, especially the real story of Apartheid, and this tour exceeded my expectations. Marvin was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with all my questions, and made me feel safe the entire time as a solo traveler. I loved being able to move at my own pace without a big group, and I even got to try a local beer with deep cultural roots that was delicious. If you want a meaningful, immersive experience rather than something rushed and touristy, ask for Marvin. Once you book there are no additional fees. We started at 8am and ended at 5pm but I had the option to end any time I wanted to. The tour was so great I wanted to keep going. I didn’t just take a tour—I gained perspective and made a friend. I’ll definitely be back from Brooklyn, NY.

Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Very pleased with the value and attention we received. It seems like a lot to do in one day, but it was very manageable. Great to get out of the hotel on the first day and not succumb to jet lag. Great introduction to the two cities.
