Toorji's Step Well - werd in de jaren 1740 gebouwd door de koningin van Maharaja Abhaya Singh. Bijna een eeuw ondergedompeld, heeft de recente drainage, opruiming en restauratie meer dan 60 meter met de hand gesneden schat blootgelegd in de beroemde rozerode zandsteen van Jodhpur; ingewikkelde gravures van dansende olifanten, middeleeuwse leeuwen- en koeienwaterspuiten en nissen met lang vervlogen goden. Uw verblijf in Jodhpur zou niet compleet zijn zonder een bezoek aan dit wonderbaarlijke monument.
Ghanta Ghar Jodhpur is de sleutel tot de onorthodoxe methode waarmee het is gebouwd. Met klokkentorens zal het ontwerp meestal gotisch zijn in zijn genre. In ieder geval kreeg de Ghanta Ghar tijdens de bouwpoging van Maharaja Sardar Singh in de tweede helft van de jaren 1890 heel snel een Indiaas perspectief, wat in ieder geval vandaag te zien is. Vergeleken met een vierkante klokkentoren is het een echt architectonisch wonder en het is de moeite waard om te zien voor iedereen die Jodhpur verlaat.
Je kunt de blauwe lijn zien waar de meeste Brahman-gemeenschappen wonen in blauwe huizen die ze blauw hebben geverfd met kalksteen, ze hebben er een beetje indigo aan toegevoegd, wat ook beschermt tegen de hitte en tegen muggen.
Het beste uitzicht heb je vanaf de Pachetia-heuvel, zoals de Blauwe Stad, op de oude stad met 360° uitzicht

A beautiful experience! After booking, they confirmed it to me. Subsequently, the guide contacted me! Since I was alone at the time I selected, the guide was very kind and came to pick me up on a motorcycle outside the hotel and brought me back as well. The guide was very knowledgeable, available, and explained the history of the blue houses of Jodhpur, the city, Mehrangarh Fort, and the clock square very well. She takes all the photos you want and invites you to take various shots of the place! I recommend it to anyone! Congratulations!

This was a great morning walking tour. It was moulded to what i wished to see. All my many questions were answered. I would not have found some of the small lanes we walked along. It was helpful to know about some of the street art as well. Narendra is knowledgeable and helpful.

We had a wonderful day with Nagendra in Jodhpur. He was extremely accommodating to our needs and very patient while we took countless photos. I paid for a five-hour tour with the driver and guide in Italian. The guide Tarun very good and competent, very good Italian! 94€ to the tour operator for 45 minutes by car and the guide, excluding entrance fees, is too much. After my complaints I was given back 2000 rupees but still overpriced considering the cost of living here.
It was an amazing Tour with Lots of lovely Taste. We visited hidden places and Nagendra told is a lot of interesting storys of the historie and the different Indian food. Thank you, good luck, Guido and Michael

We booked this tour with this guide He was able to show us the blue city with its beautiful alleys, beautiful temples and even non-tourist parts and that was really nice! He also introduced us to culinary specialties and a place that was not rated, which made this experience a real moment of sharing The visit of fort is also a beautiful moment to do!
