Beschrijving

An authentic village farming experience on the edge of the desert. A good lesson on the value of water to an agricultural community. The improved supply is having a significant positive impact on the lives of the locals. . The jeep and camel rides provided view of the fragility of the desert environment. We were lucky enough to spot a white footed desert fox, which is a rarity. Also, all credit to Sumir for the schooling he is providing to the local children.
We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful homestead in rural Rajasthan. It was unique and memorable. We had the desert jeep safari which was fun and the sunset camel ride which was beautiful! We helped mum cook chipatis on her wood fire and ate our meals with her lovely family. We loved our stay in our clean and comfortable little hut. The owners have a classroom which they use to teach the local children English. It was very good value fur. Ivey and a highlight for us.
I my name is matteo. I form to italy and I live in milan. I'm 26 years old. I write this experience in Italian because there are no words to describe it. I took this trip with a friend of mine. I would say everything perfectly magnificent and well organized. A desert safari with camels we imagined something wild in tents we were ready for anything. But then we found ourselves in this fantastic farm run by Sumir a humble and wonderful person. They take care of their animals and it is exciting how happy they seem with very few things. He told us his story, and his idea of opening a school, we met his boys. The only description I can give is pure love. Besides beyond our predictions, we had a room and a bed, even more beautiful than the experience itself. A marble hut with thatched roof, very warm blankets and a private bathroom with hot water. At night you see magnificent stars, dinner is cooked by hand by making bread and eating everyone in a kitchen around the fire. Finally in the morning... open the door and you find yourself in front of an indescribable inner peace... the desert, the sleeping camels and the singing birds. If they asked me to describe this experience in one word. That word doesn't exist.
Wow what an amazing experience, cannot recommend enough! Defiantly the best homestay & camel experience in Osian, near Jodhpur! We were picked up easily from Jodhpur & taken to the beautiful village, welcomed with chai, relaxed & had an amazing sunset camel ride! The most hospitable family & so friendly, helpful & we had the best time! Cannot recommend enough, a must do if visiting Jodhpur
Had a great time! Sumer was an excellent host. The guest huts are really well kitted out and comfortable. Love the whole vibe of the place. Camel rides were real good fun also! Cheers for the great experience
We had an amazing experience staying with Sumer and his family. He thaught us a lot about the desert farmer life, camels and his village. It's nice to see that they treat their animals as a part of the family. He and his family are just overal lovely people. He's also helping to educate the children of his village to give them a better chance. Thanks for giving us such a great experience.
Ideal for digital detox in peaceful locations (wireless). I rode the camel longer than I expected. I loved the pictures you took. The food was a bit spicy for me as a Japanese, but very delicious and satisfying. It's pretty cool at night (I went at the end of December and wore long sleeves and light downs).
It was a very special experience to ride a camel and enjoy the quiet village and desert time. The camel ride with the sunset is more beautiful than you might expect, and there is a sense that time passes slowly. The staff took a lot of photos, so I was able to leave a lot of memories. It is also impressive to see that the Tar Desert is a little different from the desert image, with greenery here and there due to climate change. Dinner was also prepared, and I was able to spend it in a calm atmosphere. The staff are very kind and warmly welcome throughout. This is the perfect experience for those who want to quietly enjoy desert time away from busy tourist destinations.
We had a lovely and authentic farmstay! We enjoyed the sunset camel ride and sunrise keep ride. We especially enjoyed seeing rural life and culture in India, along with walking around the farm and seeing the animals. It is an excellent way to break up a trio that included mostly cities :)
We were welcomed by the host very warmly right when we arrived. We then went on a jeep safari seeing different animals and a beautiful sunset. After an authentic dinner we cooked together we sat together at the campfire and watched the stars. In the morning we got up early and saw the sunset from the back of a camel. What a lovely experience, we will come back at some point for sure!
