Seongeup Folk Village is aangewezen en beschermd als een volksdorp, met behoud van de kenmerken van Jeju's oude particuliere huizen. Verschillende materiële culturele erfgoed en immaterieel cultureel erfgoed zoals volksliederen en spelletjes, lokale voedingsmiddelen en vakmanschap, en Jeju dialect worden doorgegeven. Het dorp biedt traditionele cultuur en traditionele huis ervaringen, en houdt culturele evenementen elk jaar in oktober en november. Unesco Werelderfgoed Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone steeg 180 meter boven zeeniveau als gevolg van een magmastroom onder de zee meer dan 5000 jaar geleden. Het was oorspronkelijk een apart eiland, maar een opeenhoping van zand en grond heeft het met het hoofdeiland verbonden. Een grote krater, gevormd door de hete lava vermengd met koud oceaanwater, bevindt zich op de top van Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone. De krater is ongeveer 600 meter in diameter en 90 meter diep. Het is te zien geweest in films, en werd oorspronkelijk gebruikt voor de landbouw, maar is nu overgedragen aan een veld van zilvergras. Vanaf de top kunnen bezoekers het eiland Udo zien en genieten van de prachtige zonsopgang. Het tufsteenkegelgebied werd op 19 juli 2000 aangewezen als natuurreservaat. Hamdeok Beach ligt langs Jeju Olle Trail Course 19. Het wordt ook wel aangeduid als Hamdeok Seoubong Beach vanwege de vulkanische kegel in de buurt. Het strand ligt op slechts 20 kilometer van de internationale luchthaven van Jeju en is beroemd om zijn geweldige landschap van smaragdblauw water, hoge palmbomen en witte zandstranden. Het strand wordt beschouwd als een van Jeju's top drie stranden. Aan het westelijke uiteinde van het strand is een brug over het water gebouwd. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een grasveld perfect voor picknicks en een kustwandelpad. Met name veel mensen bezoeken tijdens de zomeravonden om te genieten van de nachtelijke zee. Seoubong Volcanic Cone is prachtig in het voorjaar wanneer het bedekt is met gele koolzaadbloesems. Klimmen naar de top biedt een fantastisch uitzicht op het hele gebied, met inbegrip van Hallasan Mountain op heldere dagen. Sluit uw dag af op de oudste en meest levendige traditionele markt van Jeju. Hoewel dit deel van de route niet wordt begeleid, kunnen gasten ervoor kiezen om hun tour hier te beëindigen en de markt vrij te verkennen.

This tour was made even more enjoyable due to our guide, Jina!! The weather was perfect throughout the day, and even a hiccup with a lost passenger was mitigated by another guide who insured we all got to our lunch destination while Jina troubleshooted locating the lost passenger. You cannot fail to be impressed with guides from LOVE KOREA tour company when they put the wellbeing and welfare of their customers first. Jeju Island is a beautiful place with incredible natural beauty, especially during cherry blossom season. Ilchulland Botanical Garden was my favorite with Sunrise Peak a close second. The Seongeup Folk Village experience was very educational and entertaining thanks to village chief, King Wwangbali!

Yesterday we made the excursion to the south of the island with the same company and the same guide. So it was nice to discover the eastern part with the same guide. The two excursions each have their own charm and are quite different but also fun. It was also nice to be with a larger group! The different places were very interesting! Peter is a very good guide: funny, clear in his explanations and with valuable recommendations of things to test in Jeju. We see that he knows and loves the island. It was very nice, we highly recommend!

Caves were great. Steven Yamato was good guide. Weather was bad so we were unable to see the women divers and the lava tube was closed but we still enjoyed

I had such a good time and wasn’t expecting to see has much for what l payed plus sometimes some tours want you to pay extra stuff but here everything was pay for the little price all day and comfortable ride. Our Gide Steven was a highlight because he explained everything, the places we visited very interesting and beautiful. I will suggest maybe share the menu before arriving for lunch and pass the order at the restaurant in order to win time and spend at the hiking and beach because it seems a little rush. Thank you l had such a good time in Jeju thanks to you!

I really loved and enjoyed the tour. It was a small group with Jason as our tour guide, his English is perfect, he is very passionate, charismatic and knowledgeable about Jeju its history and culture. Jason is very patient and honestly this tour was wonderful because I had a great guide. Just a suggestion for the future it would be nice if they drop us where you pick us up because it was very inconvenient the drop at Dongmun market.
