Dit traditionele dorp op het eiland Jeju is bewaard gebleven zoals het was in vroeger dagen met indrukwekkende stapels stenen ontworpen om daken te beschermen tegen de wind. De gebouwen zijn aangewezen als belangrijke volksrelikwieën omdat deze kastelen en huizen die werden gebouwd om een Japanse invasie te voorkomen intact zijn gebleven de Joseon Dynastie.
Natural Place Seopjikoji ligt aan het einde van de oostelijke oever van het eiland Jeju en heeft een fantastisch landschap, vooral in april wanneer gele koolzaadbloemen in volle bloei staan. "Seopji" is de oude naam voor het gebied, en "Koji" is Jeju dialect wat een plotselinge hobbel op het land betekent.
Deze plek is alleen voor foto tours. Niet wandelen. Geen toegang zonder ticket. Kijk naar een vrouwen duikers show. (1400pm). Seongsan Ilchulbong, ook wel ‘Sunrise Peak’ genoemd, is een archetypische tufstenen kegel gevormd door hydrovulkanische uitbarstingen op een ondiepe zeebodem ongeveer 5 duizend jaar geleden. Deze tufstenen kegel ligt aan de oostelijke kust van het eiland Jeju en lijkt naar verluidt op een gigantisch oud kasteel. Hij is 182 meter hoog, heeft een bewaard gebleven komachtige krater en vertoont ook diverse innerlijke structuren die voortkomen uit de zeeklif.
Bezoek de wereldberoemde Manjanggul Lava Tube, een van de mooiste lavatunnels op aarde en een UNESCO Werelderfgoed. De grot is duizenden jaren geleden gevormd door vulkanische activiteit en heeft enorme ondergrondse gangen, unieke lavaformaties en een koele temperatuur het hele jaar door. Het biedt een zeldzame kans om de vulkanische geschiedenis en natuurlijke wonderen van Jeju van dichtbij te ervaren.

This tour was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of my trip to Jeju. Our guide, Olivia, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, well-organized, and always making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the day. The itinerary was excellent, with beautiful and unforgettable places to visit. Even though it was incredibly hot, every stop was worth it. The scenery was simply magical, from the stunning coastline to the lava tube and the traditional village. Jeju is truly a breathtaking island. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jeju. Our guides are very careful to keep an eye on our location at all times, and will also advise us where it is best to return before the collection time. The sunrise peak is very beautiful, the seamen performing grandmothers are super cute, and really catch the chickpeas, lava cavern is spectacular. The temperature inside is very low if the summer is comfortable and not hot, overall.

We did the eastern Jeju tour with the Haenyeo divers and Manjanggul lava tube and had a great time! Our tour guide, Luke, was knowledgable and funny, he made it a great day for us. We loved seeing all the sites and Luke made all the transportation between them easy. He guided us through some sites and let us roam freely through others, yet we always seemed to cross paths with him when we had a question. Great tour, would definitely recommend to otgers and book again myself.
