Een bloeiende moderne stad met een oud hart, Byblos is een mix van verfijning en traditie. De oude haven is beschut tegen de zee door een rotsachtige landtong. In de omgeving zijn de opgegraven overblijfselen van de oude stad, het kruisvaarderskasteel, de St. Peter-kerk en het oude marktgebied.
De grot is verdeeld in twee delen; de bovenste met een adembenemend uitzicht op buitengewone steen die gordijnen en kolommen, gordijnen en paddestoelen vormt. Een boottocht wordt aangeboden op de lagere grot. Het beschikt ook over kabelbanen, trein, miniatuur dierentuin, tuinen en vele sculpturen.
Een van de oudste en meest bezochte toeristische attracties van Libanon, de gondels van de Teleferique-kabelbaan zijn een reis langs herinneringen. De teleferique leidt je naar de Maronitische kerk van Harissa.

All of them was great. Jeita grotto is a amazing cave harisa has great view,and the cable 🚡 was amazing but my favorite place it was byblos,i liked the place so much, cute a mediterranean town. The place was peacefully. And the lunch was delicious. Thx fadi.

Jeita Grotto The beautiful intricate sandstone and limestone formations of various sizes within the caves are truly marvelous. If ever visiting Lebanon, this is a definite must-see! Byblos 19 civilizations in a small area by the sea, with clear evidence of the influence of the each of those. Our expert tour guide, Yazid, also an ex-professor of History created an enriching leaning journey for us.
Fadi was a terrific guide. He was friendly and efficient. He knew when to give a bit of context and information about the sites and when to step back so you can just enjoy them. And he was forthcoming about his own experiences and perspective, which made for lively conversation. I highly recommend!

Fadi was our tour guide for the Jeita Grotto, Byblos, and Harissa day tour. It was fantastic. We had 6 people- 2 adults, 4 kids (ages 7-16). We were able to set our own pace and he had a very nice 11 seater van so we could spread out. The kids even liked being able to recline their seats so they could relax/nap as we traveled to the next destination. We also did a half day walking city tour and Fadi provided transportation to/from the airport, which was also seamless. His prices are cheaper than the other leading tour companies- another positive in my book!
