Tijdens onze 4x4 Jeep-tour bezoekt u samen met een van onze bedoeïenengidsen de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Wadi Rum. Op elke plek is er voldoende tijd om rond te dwalen, op de rotsen te klauteren, vragen te stellen aan je gids over het bedoeïenenleven in de woestijn en prachtige foto's te maken. Als je wilt, kun je je tour beginnen of eindigen met een kameelrit van 30, 60 of 120 minuten voor 15, 20 of 35 JD extra. Na uw rondleiding heeft u de mogelijkheid om te overnachten in ons door een familie gerunde traditionele bedoeïenenkamp, waar wij u een uitgebreid diner- en ontbijtbuffet zullen verzorgen. We hebben ook privétenten die plaats bieden aan maximaal 5 personen per tent met gedeelde badkamers (warm water en westerse toiletten). In onze gemeenschappelijke tent kunnen gasten genieten van WiFi, onbeperkt vers gezette bedoeïenenthee en koffie, een oplaadstation voor al hun elektronica, comfortabele loungefaciliteiten, een telescoop en adembenemende uitzichten.

Reisroute
Je tour begint op de parkeerplaats naast Wadi Rum Rest House. Hier halen we je op met onze 4x4 en zetten je aan het einde weer af.
We zullen de Lawrence-bron zien waar water uit de bergen wordt verzameld en kamelen uit een bassin kunnen drinken.
Rode zandduinen. We stoppen bij de rode zandduin en je kunt naar de top wandelen om een prachtig 360 graden uitzicht over de woestijn te hebben. Daarna kunnen we wat bedoeïenenthee drinken.
We gaan de Khazali-kloof binnen om de oude inscripties uit verschillende perioden in de geschiedenis te zien.
Kleine boog. We klauteren bovenop de kleine boog.
We zetten je af aan het begin van de Abu Khasaba Canyon waar je in 30-45 minuten doorheen kunt lopen. Je hebt prachtige uitzichten over de woestijn en de smallere delen van de canyon. Na het bereiken van het einde hebben we wat tijd om te sandboarden.
Na je wandeling wachten we op je aan het einde van Abu Khashaba Canyon. Daar bereidt je gids een traditionele bedoeïenenlunch voor je. Onder het genot van het eten kun je al je vragen stellen over het leven in de woestijn.
We zullen de Um Frouth Rock Arch beklimmen en bovenop mooie foto's maken.
We stoppen bij paddenstoelenrots en maken wat coole foto's.
We zullen nagaan wat het huis van Lawrence moest zijn, hoewel niemand zeker weet dat hij hier echt heeft gewoond. Er is ook tijd om de rots erachter te beklimmen of thee te drinken.
We zullen de Burdah Rock Bridge van onderaf bekijken.
We zullen naar de zonsondergang kijken en wat bedoeïenenthee drinken in Um Sabatah
We zetten je weer af op de parkeerplaats naast Wadi Rum Rest House.

Best experience ever, worth every penny, unbelievable scenery and activities, Omar is the best guide and kindest person for this tour
Beautiful landscapes, varied activities and as described and good timing, great sunset, drinks at very nice disposal, great guide, thank you Abdul for your welcome and accompaniment for this day, take good shoes for moments of small climbs. Jordan is a surprising, underestimated country with a very welcoming, smart and pleasant people.
We did the 8-hour tour with Omar and we couldn't be happier. He took us to all the points of interest, prepared us the (delicious) food, tea, watched the sunset... Then at night, at the campsite, he taught us traditional dancing, we played cards.... We had an amazing day. Thanks Omar!
Amazing experience in the desert with our funny, efficient and welcoming guide Omar! We had the chance to see all the most beautiful spots in the area, enjoy a delicious lunch in a remote area. All the staff at the camp was very nice, and organised a memorable new year celebration. Highly recommended.
Wadi Rum is amazing! The tour driver was very kind but he didn’t have a lot of info about the sites, which would be nice to have. I booked a stay in the campground with them, but beware! if you need to leave early in the morning there will be extra charges to take you to the visitor center/parking. The food at the desert and campground was ok, cheese and hummus were store bought in tetra brick boxes. Their campsite is comfortable but a little basic (no AC or heating), and reasonably clean. We didn’t need heating but we had extra blankets. Overall a good experience.

We would also like to clarify that transportation from the camp to the village is free of charge. However, transportation to the Visitor Center costs 5 JOD due to the distance. We had two of our best days in Jordan here! We did so many unforgetable things with Omar, we laughed so many times, had tea at incredible places with beautiful sunsets, amazing climbing Sessions, very good food, dune surfing, fun evenings in the tent at the camp with the other guests and so much more. You can ask them anything, they are so kind and we will NEVER forget this trip! THANK YOU!
We had the best time at Wadi Rum. Omar was an amazing and funny guide, who showed us all the best places, cooked delicious food and did a crazy hike with us. Always felt safe and had the most amazing time because of Omar. Stayed for two nights, just beautiful and a must do experience if you are in Jordan. Can 100% recommend it :)
