De jeepsafari naar Pailón del Diablo in Baños de Agua Santa is bijzonder omdat het comfort, avontuur en toegang tot een van de meest indrukwekkende watervallen van Ecuador op een snellere en spannendere manier combineert. In tegenstelling tot traditioneel vervoer, biedt reizen per jeep u meer flexibiliteit bij het verkennen van de beroemde Watervallenroute, met schilderachtige stops en een leuke offroad-ervaring door het Andeslandschap. De reis zelf wordt onderdeel van het avontuur, niet slechts een vervoermiddel. Bij Pailón del Diablo ervaren reizigers de volle kracht van de natuur: het bulderende water, de mistige bruggen en de spectaculaire uitzichten op de kloof zorgen voor een onvergetelijke zintuiglijke ervaring. - Levering van de uitrusting: De kaart met de aangegeven route is gemakkelijk te bezorgen en er is ook een back-up beschikbaar op Google Maps. De route naar Pailon del Diablo is hier ook opgenomen. (Indien u een gids wenst, zijn hier extra kosten aan verbonden; neem hiervoor contact op met Ecuador 24 Tourism Management.) - Technische uitleg: Dit is essentieel voor het besturen van de Jeep. Zodra alles gereed is, beginnen we aan de rondleiding. - Eerste stop: Agoyán-waterval (7 km – ca. 15 min) Op deze route ziet u de Agoyán-dam, de Agoyán-waterval, de Culebrilla-waterval, de La Esperanza-waterval en rijdt u door tunnels die door watervallen worden omspoeld.
- Tweede stop: Pastaza-riviertunnel en uitzichtpunt (2 km verderop) We volgen de oude weg van vóór de tunnels; tegenwoordig is het een fietspad. We kwamen aan bij Rio Blanco, waar je verschillende avontuurlijke sporten kunt vinden, zoals: de glazen brug, de Tibetaanse brug, bridge jumping, canopy tour en extreme ball (deze activiteiten zijn optioneel, de prijs varieert tussen $10 en $25 afhankelijk van de activiteit, het is raadzaam om contant geld mee te nemen). - Derde stop: Manto de la Novia-waterval (15 km van Baños) De kabelbaan brengt ons naar Bride's Veil, waar u optioneel met de kabelbaan (luchtmand) of te voet naar het uitkijkpunt kunt gaan (de kabelbaan kost $2, neem bij voorkeur contant geld mee). Daarna vervolgen we onze reis naar Devil's Cauldron Island.
Vierde stop: Pailón del Diablo-waterval (17 km van Baños) Bij aankomst in Rio Verde ziet u verschillende parkeerplaatsen waar u uw auto kunt parkeren; de parkeerkosten bedragen $1. Bij de ingang van de Pailón del Diablo-waterval vind je twee opties: het lange pad, dat in totaal een uur wandelen heen en terug naar de waterval duurt, of het korte pad, dat in 30 minuten wandelen heen en terug duurt en waarmee je de waterval van bovenaf kunt bekijken. Overdag kost een ticket voor de Devil's Cauldron $3 USD voor twee personen, en 's avonds kost een lang ticket $5 USD en een kort ticket $4 USD.

An excellent service and very cordial; they are very kind people. It is a quality service, for example, the vehicles are in excellent condition, and it was a very nice experience. I booked the tour to the waterfalls, and everything was excellent; the guide and the service at the agency were very kind and professional. He explained the tour we were going to take in great detail. Everything was truly beautiful; I recommend it 100%. We went in a Jeep to the treehouse and the devil's oailon everything was excellent the attention and the vehicles in good condition I recommend

This was a great way to see the waterfalls! Highly recommend it! The company was easy to work with, the jeep was in good condition. I did take one major wrong turn, so check your map as you leave town, but there's only 2 ways to go... You can go slow this way and not have to ride the wild chivas buses. Much more personal. A guide wasn't necessary, if you've ever driven on windy mountain roads before, the roads are easy, though be careful in the tunnels. 4 of them. Also, the jeep is only in manual transmission, so if you are not good at this don't drive one. They can be hard to start up a hill for novice drivers. It was a little bit pricey, but not outrageous. $20/ hour is what we paid. 3 hours total. The sun is intense at that altitude! Be sure to walk under el diablo waterfall.
