Jeep Safari Akamas vanuit Paphos
Beschrijving
Sluit je aan bij een kleine groep natuurliefhebbers voor een volledige dagmissie naar het noordwestelijke puntje van Cyprus, het wilde schiereiland Akamas. Combineer plezier, avontuur en wat (optionele) calorieverbranding door korte wandelingen en zwemmogelijkheden (alleen mei – oktober). Deze route benadrukt de tijd buiten in de natuur in plaats van de hele dag in de jeep vast te zitten. Houd er rekening mee dat in het Full Day-programma voldoende tijd wordt gegeven voor een optionele lunch (niet inbegrepen in de prijs, extra), in het Half Day-programma is tijd voor de lunch helemaal niet voorzien. Het programmaschema kan worden gewijzigd als gevolg van weersomstandigheden en andere factoren. Van mei tot oktober - het programma is 4 uur, halve dag tour (Thermen van Aphrodite en uitzichtpunt van Akamas Peninsula zijn niet inbegrepen).

Ophaalgegevens worden uiterlijk 1 dag voor de excursie per e-mail verzonden. Ontmoetingspunten op loopafstand kunnen worden toegewezen. Geen pick-ups beschikbaar van privé accommodaties waaronder vakantievilla's.

Absolutely brilliant,loved every minute although younger women in there 50s struggled with walking the gorge and climbing down the cliff at the blue Lagoon, so should be noted not for unfit people ,the jeep safari was amazing and the guide very informative,will do something similar when I come back next year
Nice trip, off-road with a real jeep (Landrover). Places were beautiful. Turtle sanctuary was disappointing, old building that was last maintained in 2013. It is volunteer work, but it is a pity that no one keeps track of it. Guide was friendly, but unfortunately not very exuberant in his story. Maybe not possible with a half-day tour.

Extremely inflexible - please be careful when booking!!! I booked the Jeep Safari together with my wife and we were really looking forward to it! Unfortunately, one day before the Jeep Safari, my foot became acutely ill with calcium deposits and I was unable to take part in the event - the pain was simply too great as I couldn't even begin to stand on my right foot..... My wife obviously didn't miss the tour, we were both looking forward to it too much..... After consulting our tour guide Conny, I was assured that she would get in touch with me about a good solution - unfortunately with a negative outcome - Her boss said that I would need a medical certificate - i.e. get a doctor to the hotel and cover the additional costs of around €150 - which would have to be paid for privately....the Jeep tour came to €80..... Of course I didn't do that.... I don't understand it - I wouldn't book a jeep tour 4 days in advance and then not take part... I would have really liked a little more sensitivity here! In any case, we will no longer use MTS's services and would like to use this opportunity to warn people against it.
Very interesting place. The sea was beautiful and clear.would have liked more time there. Our guide was excellent he had great knowledge of the plants and wildlife.
We were picked up at nerby hotel. Caravan took of after all the jeeps reported at first stop. First part was visitin the gorg. Walk was easy enough that 5 year could manage it. Second part was visit to the turtle nests and final part was skinny dipping at neighbouring bay. If you like nature then this trip is for you, but if you hate dust then stay away.

Whilst the pickup time was a little fluid, the driver was excellent and the 1/2 day, to the Akamas gorge and Lara beach was most enjoyable, and well worth the money.A proper off-road experience
