Stel je een kleine jazzclub voor. De muzikanten spelen een paar meter verderop, jij zit aan je tafel, misschien aan het diner of een glas wijn. Alleen in plaats van stadsstraten buiten het raam, drijft Praag langzaam voorbij. Zo voelt een avond op de Jazzboot ongeveer aan. In tweeënhalf uur tijd hoor je drie live jazzsets. Tussendoor is er tijd om te praten, te genieten van je eten of gewoon uit te kijken over de stad en de rivier. Je hoeft niets van jazz te weten, en er valt niet veel te plannen. Kom gewoon aan boord, neem plaats en laat de avond stromen met de boot.

Jazz Boat begon met een eenvoudig idee – om live jazz samen te brengen met een plek waar mensen zich op hun gemak kunnen voelen en echt dicht bij de muziek kunnen zijn. Er is geen haast naar de avond. De boot vaart langzaam langs de Moldau, de band speelt drie sets, en tussendoor is er tijd voor een diner, een glas wijn of een gesprek. Soms is het de muziek die je naar binnen trekt, soms het uitzicht vanuit het raam. En soms leun je gewoon achterover en geniet je ervan om een paar uur nergens aan te hoeven denken. Elke avond is een beetje anders. Verschillende muzikanten, verschillende mensen, een andere stemming. En dat is precies wat we leuk vinden aan de Jazz Boat.

It was little confused to find the terminal 18 but everything was perfect except it. They have 3 Jazz session and their playing was awesome.
I booked this for my parents and they absolutely loved it. Had seats right next to the band. Great music, great food and they loved the excursion
Music was great, staff and food were good, and trip up and down the Vltava River was beautiful. We chose to do this tour our last night and are glad we did.
We love Jazz and we love to eat so what could be nicer than eating, drinking, and listening to Jazz on a boat with wonderful views? The views were incredible from the boat at night and the food was amazingly good. There is no choice in what they offer, a nice salmon with a creamy dill sauce and Caprese salad. We added an optional Carpaccio appetizer and a bottle of Chardonnay. The staff was friendly and efficient. After we finished eating we still had 45 minutes to continue listening to the music. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
Great way to spend a beautiful evening. I was seated alongside a nice couple from Ireland. We had front row seats to a great three-piece band. The food was great- I had the pork, and it was juicy and perfectly prepared. The appetizer was a caprese salad. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Drinks were pretty reasonably priced. I had 3 glasses of wine and a bottle of water for about $20. Only thing I would recommend is for there to be some kind of announcement when passing sights- we were inside, so we didn’t know when any landmarks were being passed. Also, when using maps- search for Terminal 18 on the dock. The pin will take you to somewhere on the street, but it’s incorrect. Other than that, well worth the money.
Super Cool! What a fantastic way to see the best views of Prague while listening to an amazing jazz trio! As a bonus, the food was very high quality and service was friendly and attentive. If you like live music, I would highly recommend this excursion! Timing of courses and sets was just right, giving us enough time in between to leave our table and head up to the top deck for some great pictures. We would 100% do this one again on a return trip to Prague!
The experience was nice but the music is way too loud for the small boat. We thought the jazz would be low enough that we could have a conversation with others at our table and it was nearly impossible. The boat is outdated and could use some updating. Food was delicious but portions were small.
Thank you for your review. We'd just like to clarify a few points. Jazz Boat is a live concert experience, not background music during dinner. The music is intentionally the main part of the evening, and thousands of guests visit us specifically to enjoy an authentic live jazz performance. While conversation is certainly possible between sets, we don't advertise the cruise as a quiet dining experience. Regarding the food, our menu and portion sizes are clearly presented before booking, and most guests find them satisfying. We're sorry the evening didn't match your expectations, but it sounds like they were different from the experience we offer.
Nice experience! Food very delicious, staff very friendly, they accommodate requests. Dreamy evening scenery of the city with all its lights from the boat. Plus great live jazz music. The band was great. All in all, a perfect evening, highly recommended.

We were very impressed with this tour and would recommend it to everyone. The boat is lovely. It’s nice and intimate with indoor and outdoor options. It’s not too crowded and feels like just the right size. The service is terrific, and the food was delicious. The drinks were great and very reasonably priced. The tour on the river was beautiful. And the cherry on top is the jazz band. Ours was world class and seeing them in such an intimate environment was wonderful. This one is totally worth it. Do it.
