Confusing since the beginning... The tour was cancelled by the agency and later on confirmed (ok... understandable...). It was supposed to be a city tour with a guide/driver English speaker. Forget the items guide and English speaker... Just a driver (very kind by the way) that asked with his limited skills “where do you want to go?” 😱 Well, if it is a city tour (even private) I supposed that it’s more than desirable to have a standard itinerary that eventually can be customized... not the case. As the driver was not aware about open hours of the attractions neither was able to explain what could be seen. We arrived late in Taman Mini Indonesia (almost closed and it can takes a full day there) and even worst, the Bogor Palace was closed at our arrival... About Bogor, it was informed during the tour that it wasn’t included, even clearly written in TripAdvisor and informed by the agency. Afterwards, we went, but closed... Well, the car was clean, there was a bottle of water available and the driver was kind (but I think it’s a kind of basic). Take your conclusions and reflect about other options...

Today, we had a very pleasant and informative city tour through Jakarta, guided by Jose from Ekaputra Tour. We enjoyed our day in Jakarta very much and can highly recommend to book this excursion to see the city‘s highlights in just 6-7 hours. Many thanks again to Jose and his driver!
