Halve dag tour Jaisalmer- Jaisalmer Fort staat trots in het midden van de Thar-woestijn bovenop Trikuta Hill. Gebouwd in 1156 door Rajput-heerser Maharawal Jaisal Singh. Je loopt door de smalle geplaveide straatjes, waar je paleizen, tempels, weelderige hotels, winkels en privéwoningen vindt.
Patwa Haveli- Vijf prachtig gebeeldhouwde haveli's gebouwd in de jaren 1800 door een Jain-familie Bafna Oswal en zijn vijf zonen.
Een weelderige haveli in opdracht van de premier Mehta Nathmal, gebouwd in 1941 door twee moslimbroers Hati en Laloo, hier zie je het verschil tussen het werk van twee broers.
Een door mensen gemaakt meer dat ongeveer 860 jaar oud is. Bij de ingang van het meer staat Teelon Ki Pol, gebouwd in 1909 na Christus, gebouwd door een plaatselijke prostituee Teelon. Hier zie je tempels, chatris en ghats.
Sadar Bazar- Je loopt door de lokale markt, in het hart van de stad, en ziet lokale zilversmeden die uitgebreide werken maken van oorbellen, kettingen, ringen en meer. Dorpsvrouwen die lokaal geteelde producten verkopen, het beroemde Jaisalmer-spiegelwerk en dagelijks gemaakte lokale zoetigheden.

It was a wonderful trip! The guide was very polite, helpful and knows super German. His knowledge of culture and history is incredibly versatile and he has a great sense of bringing it across to the traveller. He always responded to our needs, which made the trip special.
Lokendra was one of the best tour guides we had in all of Rajasthan. He is very knowledgeable and speaks great English. This was very important as we were traveling with kids who don’t speak or understand Hindi. He was also mindful of parents traveling with us and making sure they weren’t over exerted. Wish he was our guide for rest of the cities we visited in Rajasthan.
Went on a North India tour (2 weeks) with a small group (10 people) in November 2025. I knew India from many business trips to Delhi and Mumbai in the past but during this trip it was amazing how much we were able to see from real India, its culture, its beauty and its heritage. Our visit to Jaisalmer was really impressive, thanks to Halle... He is a very good guide, he told us a lot about Jaisalmer, about the people, the culture, the history. He speaks very good German. we were also allowed to see his house, meet the mother and also his wife with the little baby.
