Ontdek het dagelijks leven van Jaipur op een authentieke manier. Ervaar de geest van de stad door te wandelen door verborgen straatjes en oude haveli's, waar geschiedenis en architectuur het verhaal vertellen van het nobele verleden van Jaipur. Bezoek levendige tempels en wees getuige van hindoeïstische gebedsceremonies, waardoor je een kijkje krijgt in het spirituele leven van de stad. Verken levendige bazaars, praat met de lokale bevolking tijdens een kopje thee en proef de beroemde straatgerechten van Jaipur. Ontmoet lokale ambachtslieden en bekijk live demonstraties van traditionele ambachten, waaronder marmersnijwerk, het maken van lac bangle en het maken van messing gebruiksvoorwerpen, waarbij u uit eerste hand meer te weten komt over hun technieken en erfgoed. Hawa Mahal of Wind Palace is een gebouw dat in 1799 werd gebouwd door koning Sawai Pratap Singh om de dames van het koninklijk hof de optocht van de markten te laten zien.
Oude Havelis in de Roze Stad – Wandel door de smalle straatjes, bewonder de architectuur, fresco's en binnenplaatsen van traditionele havelis.
Kleurrijke bloemen- en groentenmarkt, dit is de enige groothandelsmarkt voor bloemen en groenten in Jaipur
Hier op deze oude heilige plaats zien we een van de 7 ceremonies (Aarti) volgens ons wandelprogramma Wij adviseren persoonlijk om de ochtendceremonie bij te staan. Deze 18e-eeuwse hindoetempel is gewijd aan God Krishna en zijn vrouw Radha Govind devji woont hier als Yugal Sarkar (goddelijk paar) die yugal darshan geeft met Radha.
We zullen live demonstraties zien van traditionele ambachten, waaronder het maken van lac bangle, marmersnijwerk en het bewerken van messing gebruiksvoorwerpen, waardoor u een kijkje uit de eerste hand krijgt in Jaipur's rijke ambachtelijke erfgoed. Natuurlijk is geen tour compleet zonder de lokale smaken te proeven! We stoppen om te genieten van de beste samosa in Jaipur, en later bezoeken we een fabriek voor het maken van rabri's om te kijken hoe dit heerlijke traditionele dessert wordt bereid en te genieten van een frisse smaak.

We had a great walking tour in the pink city. Our tour guide took us to places where we would be able to find on our own. The highlights of the tour were a Hindu temple; a kitchen, providing the food for a restaurant nearby; and visiting the a street with marble workshops. All amazing experience in few hours! Highly recommend this tour operator!

I had an amazing experience. Tour guide Viru was kind and knowledgeable. We explored the vibrant Flower Market, Marble street and some beautiful old havelis that made me feel like i was stepping back in time. I got to sample authentic local delicacies that i would never have tried on my own. This tour is highly recommended!
Our tour guide Viru was amazing! It was very nice to meet him and he is very knowledgeable about his home city. Viru gave us a great tour of Hawa Mahal and showed us all through the local markets. He explained the praying rituals of all the temples and guided us through the Hawa Mahal museum. Viru also treated us to some very tasty Indian food. We also went to the Palace in water which was beautiful and we were introduced to a palm reading which was very interesting! Our tour was supposed to last 3 hours but it was so good that we ended up spending the whole day with Viru! Thank you again, from Emer and Nic!

Viru was our guide. It was incredible. We saw areas of Jaipur that we would not have seen otherwise. We walked in the old city. We saw the areas where people of different professions work - blacksmiths, marble carving, local food stalls, bangle artists and many more. Wonderful tour. Highly recommended.

Raju, our wonderful guide, opened the doors to history for us. Thanks to him, we discovered the city of Jaipur, its customs, its old cinema and its delicious lassi... Under his aegis, we stormed the cult Amber Fort. Our first visit was only supposed to last 3 hours... in the end, we wandered for almost 7 hours in the streets and mazes of the city! Raju fervently told us the story of the kings and their followers. We were able to go back in time and see the processions of maharajas come to life before our eyes! We have adored ! We 1000% recommend Raju’s services!
