Ophalen om 8 uur vanaf je hotel / luchthaven in Jaipur en begin de tour eerst, je bezoekt de Hawa Mahal, een ander Rajput-monument dat ook bekend staat als het Palace of the Winds, voor meer fotomomenten. De vijf verdiepingen tellende Hawa Mahal werd gebouwd in 1799A.D. langs de hoofdstraat van de oude stad. Het is een meesterwerk van roze zandsteen met half-achthoekige en delicaat honingraatramen.
Volgende bezoek aan het Amber Fort. Het Amber Fort ligt op een bergkam net buiten Jaipur City en wordt prachtig weerspiegeld in het meer eronder. In het fort zul je de wereldberoemde Jai Mandir-tempel tegenkomen met zijn oogverblindende Sheesh Mahal-spiegelzaal. De muren en het plafond van de Mahal zijn bedekt met een prachtige reeks spiegels die elke lichtstraal reflecteren en de hele kamer verlichten.
Vervolg de tour door rond 11.00 uur een fotostop te maken bij Jal Mahal. Dit "Waterpaleis" in Rajput-stijl ligt in het midden van het Man Sarobar-meer. Het meer is in de zomer vaak droog, maar de wintermoessons veranderen het vaak in een prachtig meer gevuld met waterhyacinten.
Je bezoekt het stadspaleis in het hart van de oude stad. Eens de koninklijke residentie van de koning van Jaipur, werd het paleis gebouwd met een mix van Rajasthani en Mughal-stijlen. Stap het Observatorium van Jaipur binnen, een UNESCO-werelderfgoed dat de belangrijkste, meest uitgebreide en best bewaarde historische observatoria van India is.
Geniet later op de dag van een middagje winkelen in Jaipur. Je zult enkele van de meest populaire items tegenkomen, zoals kostbare edelstenen, zilveren sieraden, armbanden, kleding, blauw aardewerk textiel en nog veel meer.
De tour eindigt rond 17.00 uur wanneer je wordt teruggebracht naar je hotel, luchthaven of treinstation in Jaipur.

Ashok was an excellent tour guide who should be commended for a job very well done. He was very nice and his commentary was exceptional. His pickup and drop off timing was spot on punctual. The tour left me both with the feeling that I fully experienced the sights of Jaipur while at the same time making want to see more. Apart from the gem that is Jaipur, our tour guide Ashok is the cause for this. His solid understanding of the history as well as current affairs in India impressed me, but what stood out for me was his blissful personality and positive attitude. He is a master of many things: In addition to being a tour guide, he studied law, is also a Yoga teacher, a French teacher and can read your palm. He offered to read all of our palms - we were 13 - and left us astounded by the accuracy of his reading. That aside, his jokes and banter made the trip very enjoyable. My personal highlights were a trip to a carpet manufacturer where we could see how hand woven carpets are made and a visit to a secret location in the city that blew all of us away. There were no other tourists there and it proved to be a great way to end our day. All in all, I am thankful that Ashok made my short trip to Jaipur so memorable.

Ashok, our incredible tour guide, took us to all the major sites in Jaipur while offering super insightful comments on the history and interesting factoides of the locations we visited. He would always take care of us (giving tips on bartering, suggestions of what to buy where, etc.) and make the transit to the different sites extremely fun with his witty jokes. He ended the tour with a surprise landmark that had literally no other tourists which served as a great way to end the tour. He was extremely accommodating and kind, and I can decisively say that he is the best tour guide I have ever had.
