Je Jack Daniels-tour begint met een gratis 0,50 ml Jack Daniels voor alle volwassenen +21 jaar oud. Bij aankomst in de Jack Daniels-distilleerderij zullen we de toeristen begeleiden naar de receptie en inchecken voor de tour van 1 pence. Daarna reizen we naar het stadsplein van Lynchburg en stoppen bij de Winery. Voor degenen die proeven of niet, je kunt rondsnuffelen in de vele winkels, of gaan lunchen in Miss Mary BOBO'S Restaurant. Na de lunch gaan we terug naar de Jack Daniels-distilleerderij, je kunt foto's maken tijdens de tour, tenzij de bestemming beperkt is. Na de rondleiding worden degenen die deelnemen aan de Jack Daniels-proeverij, naar de proeflokalen geleid. Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om je eigen unieke Jack Daniels-fles whisky te kopen, ze bieden ook gravering op de flessen. We stoppen bij Jack Daniels Candy Company, (Jack Daniels Whiskey Cake/Pralines). Ervaar de handgemaakte wijnen in Lynchburg-stijl, meestal gemaakt door twee lokale families/telers. Zoete, landelijke, halfzoete keuzes voor elke wijnkenner.
We maken een rit langs deze distilleerderij en zetten de toerist voor een vrije tijd af, om te winkelen in de authentieke Jack Daniels-winkel of te stoppen in de handgemaakte snoepwinkel, genoeg souvenirwinkels om uit te kiezen.
Officiële Jack Daniels-cadeaus, T-shirts, borrelglaasjes, sjaals, hoeden en souvenirs. Je kunt een van de authentieke Whiskyvaten kopen om mee te nemen, cadeaus voor het hele gezin.
Jack Daniels whiskycake. Bunt Thomas bedacht het recept aan het begin van de 20e eeuw. maar het was haar zoon, Billy, die experimenteerde door het op smaak te brengen met Jack Daniels om het een beetje extra pit te geven. Ze hebben ook whiskyballetjes op smaak gebracht met (melkchocolade) en Lynchburg Whiskey Praline Pecannoten omhuld met een snoepmix.
Miss Mary BOBO'S Southern ligt in het hart van Lynchburg Square in de binnenstad en is eigendom van Jack Daniels Distillery. Je Zuiderse keuken biedt roomkipschotel, BBQ-varkensribbetjes, Mac&Cheese, sperziebonen, aardappelpuree, gebakken okra, perzikkleurige schoenmaker, chocolade-fudgecake, gebakken kip, All U Can Eat plus wat. De cadeauwinkel biedt wat lekkers om mee naar huis te nemen.

This is a shuttle/uber service only! Our tour guide arrived 30 minutes late to pick us up. She then informed us (as we were driving) that the actual Jack Daniels tour is not included as there are too many options for the whiskey "flights" but she would drop us off so we could book our own tour when we got there. When we got there, she did not escort us in and assist with the tour, she dropped us at the curb and pointed to the door. There was only one entry fee - no options for different "flights". And since we did not have a reservation, we waited an hour for the next available tour. We paid an additional $140 for the tour above the $659 already paid. The actual tour was great but we could have rented a car for the entire weekend for less than we paid for this shuttle service. Buyer beware!!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Diane, our driver was the best! Just be aware when you book that the tour does not include lunch or the entry fee into the distillery.
The Lynchburg square was so cute, Mary Bobo was so very southern style food. Our driver really prepared us for what to expect, he took photo opts along the way. Our vehicle was clean and smelled fresh! We got a free shot of Old No. 7 upon our arrival to began our ride.
My wife and I scheduled this tour after our first one was cancelled. This was a bit more $$ than the original tour but looked great on the website. First off...We LOVED our driver Diane, she was fun, friendly, and exceptionally thoughtful grabbing a cake my wife for her birthday! However, I was under the impression we were getting more of a coach bus from the photos on the site, and not a mini-van (Uber). It was very clean and a great ride, just not what we expected. We did also think the Jack Daniels tour ticket was part of the pricing because of the wording on the site. It is not listed in the description that Jack Daniels ticket is not included, as it says "We will escort the tourist to the counter and check them in for the 1P tour". for $350.00 I was surprised it was the livery service only. Everything else we were responsible for paying for. I would recommend the company directly posting on the site that no additional services / tickets are included, and that your company has the option of swapping vehicles without notice. I checked Uber directly and it would have been roughly about 100.00 each way. Again the 3 stars in NO WAY reflects on our driver. Diane was fabulous and gets 5 stars for her service!! The stars were only for the value to what was listed compared to what we received from the company. It's not a tour if it's not included, I would suggest it be listed as a livery service, not "Jack Daniels Smooth Distillery Tours, Shopping and Barbecue."
