De Izalco-vulkaan, bekend als de "Vuurtoren van de Stille Oceaan", bevindt zich in het departement Sonsonate, is een actieve vulkaan met een msnm van 1985, is de jongste vulkaan en perfect om te wandelen en vogels te kijken. Op de top zie je de fumarolische activiteit en een indrukwekkend uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan en "Ruta de las Flores"
Dit indrukwekkende kratermeer is geweldig, het wordt ook beschouwd als een van de 10 mooiste meren ter wereld, de naam betekent in de Nahuat-taal "Cerro de Culebras", u kunt zwemmen, een mini-boot nemen, jetski, enz. En een het restaurant is aan het smaken voor je lunch.

Me and my friend did the hike and had a great experience with our tour guide Diego. He led us up and down safely and told us so much history about El Salvador and restaurant recommendations. I also accidentally left my retainers with him and he figured out a way to get them back to me in the US.

The actual hike was the Santa Ana Volcano. I have to say Diego, was an incredible guide. My girlfriend and I were nervous at first to do this but he was so kind and informational. Through his guide we were able to better understand the wildlife, history, and terrain of the volcano. Incredible experience!
Diego was an amazing tour guide, picked everyone up promptly, gave invaluable knowledge about the area and the country, and continued to work with the park rangers to provide us with the best experience possible due to the weather. To sum it up, the tour was incredible, thank you Diego!

The tour was great and our guide, Josue Romero was very knowledgeable, professional & helpful, I would definitely use his services and company again next time we go to El Salvador and want to book a tour.
Great experience staff was excellent! Our driver was Edwin and he knew the roads with no problem. Josue the guide for our tour knew everything about el salvador and has a great sense of humor. He is a licensed guide I would go with that! They accommodated us through lunch and activities. We had a great time. We had 14 in our group.

The hike was a little challenging but rewarding and well worth it for somebody who craves a little exercise, with stunning views at the top. The lake was beautiful and serene, not many merchants approached or gave pressure to buy their goods. Our guide, Josué, was outstanding—not only was he attentive and supportive throughout the trip, but he also shared valuable insights about the social aspects of El Salvador.
Diego gave a very personalised tour to the volcano and lake. I couldnt ask for anything more from him. I specifically enjoyed his personal stories and experiences growing up in ES. He has very good command of english which makes it easy for us to communicate with. I would highly recommend diego and this positive tour company for any trips in ES!
