Joanna gave us an excellent tour of this very interesting site, making the lives of the Roman residents come to life. The mosaics in the homes at this site are amazing, and the remaining wall foundations make the housing area easy to visualize. The amphitheater is what remains of the 3rd largest Roman one. We actually enjoyed visiting it more than the one in Rome because there were no crowds. My husband uses a hiking pole for stability on uneven surfaces, but he was able to manage this site & Joanna was very understanding of his needs & helpful. We took a taxi from our hotel in the Barrio Santa Cruz neighborhood, then caught one back that was dropping off people as it was a busy Sunday afternoon for the taxi apps. There was a little cafe across the street from the entrance where we warmed up & had coffees before our tour began.
Thank you so much for your opinion !!! I convey your satisfaction to my colleague. I hope to see you soon. best !
David was very polite and knowledgeable. Even helped us get back into the city. He’s also a photographer, so we got great photos! We enjoyed our tour. Thank you
Thanks Meg for the review, David also enjoyed it a lot with you. He sends you a big hug Thank you!
Joanna gave us a great tour of Italica. She was very knowledgeable and the site was impressive. The little museum was also interesting. Totally worth the 20 minute drive from Seville if you are into Roman ruins
Thank you very much for your review, our colleague was amazing when visiting Italica, I'll pass on her words to you. Thank you for trusting us.
Our guide Veronica did a wonderful job of explaining so many things about Italica. She was very accommodating regarding our arrival situation. We definitely reccomend the tour because of the information and perspective that you won't get simply walking around the Amphitheater. Thank you !
Alexis was very knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time talking about Italica and Spanish history. We almost had the place to ourselves which was fun but we didn’t understand why because the ruins were amazing. We also loved it as Game of Thrones fans because they filmed there!
Carmen was a fabulous guide. She was so knowledgeable about the history of Italica and Roman Empire history in general. We learned a lot from her and had so much fun. She was friendly and punctual and an all around delight. Definitely would recommend this tour!
Hello ! Thanks so much for you review. I transmit it to Carmen. Thank you for your trust and we hope to see you soon! Miguel
Was a fantastic tour. Very, very informative. Alex was a walking encyclopedia re Italica and Roman outposts in general. Is a nice pace as walk the streets in place over 1000 years and see the remnants of the portion of the city escalated to date. Is an active archaeological site so every year more is uncovered and restored!
The tour of Italica was interesting and Alex was informative. He was on time and obviously knew the history and layout of this Roman treasure. The weather was not ideal yet the two hours flew by as if was a more pleasant sunny day. Highly recommend Alex and Italica!!
I feel cheated, wanting to get info for the, visit nowhere inform that the entrance to Italica is free, sell it as they provide it, I had to take it out at the entrance. The tour started half an hour later and nobody told me. The tour I was sold (€ 20) was in Spanish, alternated in Italian so it was slower and heavier. Two guides came one took care of everything else with his wasap throughout the tour In relation to the information given during the tour was practically the general information of the brochure that you get in the entrance. The duration of the tour one hour, I was sold as it would last two. I was disappointed, I felt cheated and I will not recommend you. Worst guided tour I've ever done.
Buenas tardes Alfonso, Soy Miguel.
Javier was our tour guide. He was energetic and well informed . We could have the walked around the site without a guide except we would not have gained as much. It’s best to do this tour in the morning due to the heat. Make sure to bring a hat , good walking shoes, and water .
