Begin uw reis bij de beroemde Egyptische kruidenbazaar, waar u uw Gids ontmoet en traditionele Turkse lekkernijen, noten en kruidenthee proeft. Dompel jezelf onder in de levendige sfeer van een van de meest iconische markten van Istanbul. Vanaf daar wandelt u over de historische Galatabrug en geniet u van het uitzicht op de Gouden Hoorn terwijl u richting de trendy wijk Karaköy gaat. Verken kleurrijke straten, waaronder de beroemde Umbrella Street, en ontdek verborgen hoekjes vol met het lokale leven. Onderweg kunt u genieten van authentieke proeverijen zoals Turkse thee, vers gemaakte gözleme (gevuld platbrood) en de beroemde viswrap aan de waterkant. Vervolg uw reis met een ritje op de historische Tünel Funicular, een van de oudste ondergrondse spoorwegen ter wereld, en kom aan in de levendige Istiklalstraat. Geniet van een traditioneel Turks dessert, zoals kweepeer of pompoen, voordat u uw ervaring afsluit met een rijke en aromatische Turkse koffie in een lokaal café.

- Zorg dat je op tijd bij het verzamelpunt bent. Als u meer dan 5 minuten te laat bent, kan de Gids niet wachten. Omwille van de sfeer en flow van de tour kunnen we niet toestaan dat laatkomers aansluiten als de tour eenmaal is begonnen.
- Houd er rekening mee dat zodra de tour begint, de Gids zich volledig zal concentreren op het leiden van de groep en geen telefoontjes kan beantwoorden of laatkomers kan helpen.

Very interesting tour of some of the most important sights in Istanbul. The guide was very knowledgeable. We visited Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and the Cistern.

I had a wonderful experience on the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Basilica Cistern tour. The small, intimate group made it especially enjoyable, and as a solo traveler, it felt welcoming, comfortable, and easy to connect with others. The meeting point at the German Fountain was also very easy to find, which made the start of the tour smooth and stress-free. Each site had its own unique charm: the peaceful elegance of the Blue Mosque, the incredible layers of history inside Hagia Sophia, and the atmospheric beauty of the Basilica Cistern. A quick note for women joining the tour: bring a scarf for entering both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Everyone is also required to remove their shoes before entering the Blue Mosque. Our guide, Can (John,) truly made the experience exceptional. He was warm, knowledgeable, and engaging. Not only did he bring Istanbul’s rich past to life, but he also shared insights about the history of other countries, adding even more depth and context to the tour. He made sure everyone felt included and taken care of, and his passion for what he does really stood out. Overall, it was a fantastic and enriching tour, highly recommended.

We went to topkapi palace with the tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. Had a great time and the direction were clear from the guide for our own time exploring.

Confusion with the date. Operator asked if we could change our date from 10/15 to 10/16 at 2:00 PM. I said we could not citing a previously booked tour at 2:00PM but did get an answer. Then on 10/15 I received a text saying we were expected for our tour on 10/15 at 9:00 AM which was our originally date and time. But we were late as the taxi drove a long route to the area and we had to walk rapidly to the German Fountain to find the tour gone with no message as to where we might catch up with them. Knowing we we would be late I sent a text but received no reply and no further instructions. We walked into the Blue mosque and later visited the spice market.

Seeing the Blue Mosque, and other sites was good but we really enjoyed the Cistern under the Hippdrome. Well worth the extra fee

We had a great and very interesting tour in a small group just of 6 people. The tour guide was a local and had a lot of knowledge, so he could answer all our questions. He even gave us some restaurant recommendation which we tried out and in fact was the best Turkish food we ate in Istanbul!
