We had a reservation for both a Hamam and a massage. While we also appreciated the massage, what captivated us was the hamam .
The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. Next time, I will make a point to specify massage strength (gentle vs strong) in order to have an even better experience. Great place!!
We were 6 with two teens, great address the staff is very careful, the Turkish bath is typical with a great scrub and full body cleaning. A little more, the passage to the hotel spa is included with sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi, great value for money we recommend!
Very good hammam. Very traditional experience and had a great time with host and it gives a quite good traditional feeling of hammam and we entirely loved it.
We had a good experience. The reception staff was very welcoming, and the scrub was great. The hamam itself is beautiful and lives up to its 'historic' description. A quick note: the massage was much firmer than I anticipated, so be prepared for deep pressure. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was a mismatch in expectations regarding authenticity. Since it's marked as 'original,' I expected the traditional format where male attendants look after male guests. This wasn't the case, but the female attendants who assisted us were absolutely lovely and did a fantastic job. This is just a heads-up for others seeking a strictly traditional experience.
The bath was amazing, with a salt scrub on a warm marble slab. Lots of warm water rinse on your front and back. Also a soapy foam wash. A head wash with a scalp massage. Then we had tea and water break before an amazing deep massage.
Relaxing and stimulating experience at the same time. The ambiance was perfect and both the bath and massage were expertly done. A definite MUST if you are in Istanbul!
This is a must do experience. We did the traditional Turkish bath and had the massage as well it was the perfect way to relax.
A great scrub and clean down ! Slightly dated reception and changing rooms but the bathing experience was well worthwhile.
This was fantastic - only 2 of us in the public session as we booked it at 9pm. Everything was great. had the turkish Hamam, clay mask and 30 minute massage couldn't fault it.
