We rijden je langs de Oude Stadsmuren van Constantinopel terwijl onze gids je alle historische informatie achter deze muren geeft. De stadsmuren van Istanbul heeft ooggetuige vele belegeringen, invallen, evenementen. Je stopt bij 2/3 van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden in de buurt van de stadsmuren. De eerste is Seven Dungeons of bekende naam Yedikule Fortress. De tweede is de Chorakerk met prachtige Byzantijnse mozaïeken. En het derde is het laatste paleis van de Byzantijnse keizers Tekfur Palace, en laatste is verborgen Nakkaş Cisterne. Een geheime bezienswaardigheid in het centrum van Istanbul. Onze privégids haalt u op bij uw hotel met chauffeur en VIP-voertuig. Daarna begint uw tour door langs bijna 2 duizend jaar oude stadsmuren van (Constantinopel) İstanbul te rijden (u kunt stoppen wanneer u maar wilt bij de stadsmuur en klimt tot aan de stadsmuur)
Je stopt bij het Yedikule Fort Museum of Seven Dungeons genoemd, waar de eerste Ottomaanse sultan is gewurgd door zijn eigen man en ook gevangenis voor koninklijke christenen die zijn gevangengenomen door het Ottomaanse Rijk. Na Seven Dungeons rijden we je langs de oude stadsmuren naar de Chora kerk.
Het interessante aan deze kerk is MOSAİCS en İcons, ziet u afbeeldingen van mozaïeken en iconen zijn gebaseerd op de geschiedenis van het christendom en de dynastie en het leven van Jezus Christus zijn afgebeeld als documentatie. De reden waarom deze mozaïeken zijn afgebeeld is dat in de tijd de meeste mensen ongeschoold waren, maar door middel van beelden begrijpen ze het veel gemakkelijker. Wat een slimme manier om te demonstreren! (Toegangsprijs is ongeveer 20$)
Nadat u klaar bent met Chora Church brengt onze gids u ook naar het laatste Byzantijnse Paleis, Tekfur Palace waar de laatste keizer woonde. Dit is ook een geweldige plek waar u het dak van het paleis kunt beklimmen en de hele stadsmuur kunt zien staan. (Toegangsprijs is ongeveer 10$)
Nakkaş Cisterne. Een geheime bezienswaardigheid in het centrum van Istanbul! De stad Constantinopel heeft formidabele fortificatie stadsmuren... maar in de tijd was het niet genoeg om alleen stadsmuren te hebben. İstanboel of Constantinopel beschikte niet over voldoende waterbronnen zodat de vijanden de stad zouden belegeren en wachten tot ze zich overgaven! En daar komen de Romeinse geniale technische oplossingen voor het probleem door het bouwen van Water Cisternes Underground, onder de stad! We zullen in staat zijn om u alle details tussen de stadsmuren en de Cisternes te geven. Dit is een soort verstopte stortbak die niet veel mensen kennen! Je komt er misschien elke dag voorbij maar je denkt dat het gewoon een tapijt- en juwelierszaak is... maar het is meer dan dat... En met gelicentieerde certificaatgids betaalt u geen kosten..

This was an awesome tour. Aydin was extremely knowledgeable and gave us the history behind the walls. My wife and I loved this tour. Definitely worth the time!!! We would highly recommend this tour!!!
This was a great tour. Even on an unlucky day where some entries were cancelled due to snow, I'm very happy. We got to see my main interest (the Walls), and other great items I hand't really knownabout (Chora church). The guide Aydin was knowledgeable, and always had info to share. We were able to customize a few items with extra time due to the closed locations, and I even finished my shopping for family. The hotel pickup/dropoff made it all easy, even from downtown. I'd recommend this, and might even do it again myself in better weather.
I took this tour on an unlucky day when snow closed a few places, but it was still worth it. I got the see the main attraction i was interested in (the Walls), and others that were a great surprise (Chora church). Aydin was a great and knowledgeable guide, and had information to add at all times. The city transfers made this easy to do, even from downtown. We were able to do some custom stops with the extra time from the closed locations, and I was able to finish shopping for family there. The cost was more than other tours I had seen, and I think it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this, and would do it again myself in better weather in the future.
Aydin was great! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic on the topics. Happy to be our photographer as well and adjust to whatever was best for us. Very cool seeing the city walls and Chora church was awesome!
Outstanding tour. In the United States A series on the Ottoman Empire and there was a a length series on the sieges of Constantinople and how Great the City walls were in stopping multiple attempts to break and loot the city. This tour and our guide Aydin took us on the walls, the dudgeons the areas where prisoners were executed . Aydin explained it all , including the three walls the moat. And how the city finally fell to the Ottomans. It was amazing! Aydin was very good, knowledgeable great clear English. And I am hard of hearing. He also took care of my wife. Helping on steps and preventing stumbles. I ask him to take us to see the Blue Mosque and the Haigh Sophia. Both tours were excellent as well. What a great day! Our driver was also excellent. Very tight streets he saved us many steps and climbs up hill.
This is just amazing tour! From the driver who picked up us from our hotel until the guide who was certainly very knowledgeable and with amazing attitude! Just want to let you know, this is a unique tour! You can find many city tours but not old city walls itinerary like this. Our guide Aydin had unbelievable knowledge and passion about the history and got us back to the Roman Empire time and how those fortification held many enemies away from the city! Chora Church ⛪️ was breathtaking, specially while the guide was putting all mosaic depiction in amazing explanation...
My wife’s top attraction to see in Istanbul was the Wall. It lived up to her expectations. The tour guide Aiden was wonderful. Experience and knowledge. He knows the perfect locations to show us. An added benefit is we were the only tourists at the site.

This is We had a quick 2 day stay over in Istanbul, and that Aydın and his team helped arrange some great tours so we could pack in the sites as much as we could. They were in constant communication, and our guide Aydın was fabulous and so well informed on the history of the sites we were seeing along with things on the way. They are flexible and could change course easily if we needed to during our tour visits. They also arranged all our airport transfers, and they all went beautifully! I highly recommend this tour and their services. For English speakers, Aydin is a fabulous English speaking guide with a fun personality. We loved Istanbul and can't wait to go back!!
