Deze tour verkent de verbazingwekkende Blauwe Moskee die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat en die illustreert waarom Istanbul de stad is waar oost en west samenkomen. Geniet van een wandeling door het beroemde Topkapi-paleis waar sultans zwierven en harems bloeiden. Breng bovendien tijd door met het observeren van de Byzantijnse architectuur van de Hagia Irene en maak een wandeling door de Grand Bazaar om getuige te zijn van handwerk gemaakt door lokale kunstenaars.

De Blauwe Moskee (genaamd Sultanahmet Camii in het Turks) is een historische moskee in Istanbul. De moskee staat bekend als de Blauwe Moskee vanwege de blauwe tegels rond de muren van het interieur.De moskee werd gebouwd tussen 1609 en 1616 jaar, tijdens het bewind van Ahmed I. Een van de grootste moskeeën van Istanbul uit de 17e-eeuwse architectuur is een van de belangrijkste versieringen op de skyline van Istanbul. Ook beroemd om zijn blauwe tegels en 6 minarest.
Het grote paleis van de Ottomaanse sultans uit de 15e tot de 19e eeuw met een prachtige collectie cyrstal, zilver en Chinees porselein, gewaden gedragen door de sultans en hun families, de beroemde juwelen van de keizerlijke schatkist, miniaturen, de heilige mantel; verankering van relikwieën van de profeet Mohammed ** Schatkist- en haremafdelingen in het Topkapi-paleis zijn niet opgenomen in het programma en zijn vanwege extra toegang.
De oudste en grootste overdekte markt ter wereld met bijna 4.000 winkels vol rijke collecties tapijten, sieraden, leer en souvenirs Gesloten: Grand Bazaar is op zondag gesloten.

Our day’s walking tour in Istanbul was fantastic! Ege, our tour guide, was exceptional. His deep knowledge of the city’s history and culture made the experience incredibly enriching. Plus, his great sense of humor kept us engaged throughout the 8-hour (got extended by 2 hours) walk. All the major attractions were conveniently located within walking distance, making it an enjoyable and informative journey. Thank you, Ege!
First, be careful if you’re reserving a day before, they forgot me and it took me an hour and half to get to them, but I heard some other participants reserved even later than me. Second, I paid hotel pickup but I stayed in the center so basically they just dropped me off on the main street which is 5-8mins walk to my hotel. I feel I just wasted 5$. Third, there are some mosque visits which require a handkerchief. At the Sophia Mosque we had to buy it for extra 20 Lira. I think it would be better if they mentioned that on the tour description. Overall, the tour itself is very accurately planned. I loved all the spots we stopped.
It was an amazing tour experience with the history and mesmerizing & wonderful architectures of Istanbul.
