Dolmabahce Palace (Dolmabahce Sarayi), gebouwd in een weelderige Europese stijl, was de thuisbasis van de Ottomaanse sultans aan het einde van de 19e en het begin van de 20e eeuw, vóór de val van het rijk. De gigantische kristallen kroonluchters, marmeren trappen en weelderige tapijten die het interieur sieren weerspiegelen de verschuiving naar de meer Europese manier van denken van Istanbul.
De bruisende wijk Ortaköy aan de waterkant van Istanbul bruist van de energie van bars, restaurants, cafés en nachtclubs. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheid hier is de Ortaköy-moskee (Ortaköy Cami), een 19e-eeuws bouwwerk met een mix van barokke en neoklassieke invloeden. De Bosporusbrug (Bogazici Koprusu) in Istanbul is een van de drie continent-overspannende bruggen over de Bosporus, die Europa en Azië met elkaar verbindt. Toen de brug in 1973 werd geopend, was deze met een lengte van 1560 meter de vierde langste hangbrug ter wereld. En hoewel het sindsdien naar beneden is gezakt op de ranglijst, is het nog steeds een indrukwekkend gezicht om te zien.
Het 15e-eeuwse Rumeli-fort, gebouwd in slechts vier maanden, speelde een sleutelrol in de val van het Byzantijnse Constantinopel. Samen met het Anatolische fort (Anadolu Hisarı) aan de Bosporus werd het Rumeli-fort door de Ottomanen gebruikt om de hulp en bevoorrading aan Constantinopel af te sluiten. Tegenwoordig doet het dienst als openluchttheater en als locatie van historisch belang.
Verrassend genoeg voor een stad verdeeld over twee continenten, bestond Istanbul gedurende het grootste deel van zijn bestaan zonder bruggen. Na de bouw van de Bosporusbrug in de jaren zeventig kwam in 1988 de tweede verenigende brug, Fatih Sultan Mehmet. Deze maakt deel uit van de snelweg O-2 in Istanbul en verbindt de Europese en Aziatische kant van de stad.
Emirgan Park (Emirgân Korusu), gelegen aan de Europese kust van Istanbul, is een van de grootste in Istanbul en dient als een oase van natuur in de stadsuitbreiding. Het park is een populaire weekendbestemming dankzij de joggingpaden en picknickplaatsen, en het is ook de belangrijkste locatie voor het jaarlijkse Istanbul Tulip Festival, dat elk jaar in april bloeit.
Anadolu Hisari
Het paleis Küçüksu (Küçüksu Kasri), ook bekend als het Küçüksu-paviljoen (Küçüksu Sarayı), werd halverwege de 19e eeuw in opdracht van sultan Abdulmecit ontworpen als zomerpaleis voor Ottomaanse sultans. The cruise was our first experience in Istanbul. We had a great time! The ship was spacious, clean, and on time. The views of Istanbul from the deck were breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Price of the tour was right and the ship leaves on time, but don’t expect a stay of the art services in fact, some of the window glasses were crack. It is nicely and hop on hop off boat so ideally can visit multiple destinations on one trip. His come what day mobile phone app that provides audio guy in multiple languages so that was nice. we didn’t have time so we just took the entire boat trip in one shot. Also, who look for a short convenience boat trip in Istanbul this may work for you but again don’t expect too much how to go to.

The cruise is not crowded and we can take great shots all the way without people blocking. Ship is clean and have seats in all directions, so you can sit and take photos at ease. Highly recommended!

The experience was quite nice, though the audio guide could be expanded in terms of languages available. There's no snacks or beverages included in price, but they can be purchased on board for 100-700 TLR depending on item. We couldn't visit at sunset, but the scenery is probably even better then. Overall, it is a good activity while in Istanbul, would recommend for the price/quality ratio and to quickly catch on all main attractions without walking a lot.

Many buildings can be viewed, the overall environment is comfortable, and the boat is large, there are many places to take pictures, it is very recommended that couples or families feel a little.
