In de ochtend vaart u onder de Bosporusbrug door langs de Ortaköy-moskee en het Dolmabahçe-paleis. Na uw lunchpauze stapt u in een auto om beide kanten van de stad verder te verkennen. Ontdek schilderachtige wijken en leer de geschiedenis van deze fascinerende stad. Steek ten slotte de intercontinentale Bosporusbrug over naar de Aziatische kant, waar u enkele buiten de gebaande paden gelegen delen van de stad ziet en zelfs een perfect panoramisch uitzicht over de stad krijgt.

Dolmabahce Palace is de laatste residentie voor Ottomaanse sultans met 365 kamers en 22 saloons. Het staat bekend om zijn grote collectie Europese oudheid, meubels en kroonluchters van 4,5 ton. Dolmabahce Palace, een mix van verschillende Europese bouwstijlen, werd tussen 1843-1856 gebouwd door Karabet Balyan, de hofarchitect van Sultan Abdulmecid. Het drie verdiepingen tellende paleis gebouwd op een symmetrische plattegrond heeft 285 kamers en 43 zalen. Het paleis is intact gebleven met zijn originele decoraties, meubels en de zijden tapijten en gordijnen. Het overtreft alle andere paleizen in de wereld in rijkdom en pracht.
Ortakoy is een van de meest interessante wijken van Istanbul, het ligt bijna in het midden van Bosforus, waar u tijdens boottochten langs kunt komen.
Bosporusbrug is een unieke kans om van het ene continent (Azië) naar het andere (Europa) te stappen. Dit is een intercontinentale hangbrug

We did the lunch time boat cruise which took about 3 hrs including transfers amd included lunch. We enjoyed being on the water to get a different perspective of Istanbul. I would recommend.

After two days of walking tours, it was nice to have a private bus (for our tour group) shuttle us around for the day. Our tour guide was fantastic and we learned a lot of Turkish history from him. He also had the perfect mix of guiding and explaining vs giving us time to ourselves to look and discuss on our own. All in all, a very nice day.

Bismillah It was our great holiday and tour in Turki with Mr Emre Önal was our tour guide. We went to see beautiful Bursa and it’s beautiful snowy mountain. We cruised the strait of Bosporus up to Buyukada. Staying in Istanbul was also a great chance to visit historic sites of Anatolia, including Blue Mosque, and its surrounding area. We also went to visit a great history site of Abu Ayoub Al Anshari. Spices market, grand market were among other places that were so enjoyable we have visited. Turki keeps a lot of beautiful and historical sites to visit. We also went to Kayseri, Cappadocia and had opportunity to visit our Australian friend living in Nevsheher. In general, Turki is very beautiful, the creativity of it people. The Turkish people were very welcoming by offering us with different democratic choices of tea, black tea, apple tea, etc. Love to come back one day Alhamdulillah
