De Galatabrug (Galata Köprüsü) is een 490 meter lange ophaalbrug in de monding van de Gouden Hoorn, die het oude Istanboel verenigt met zijn modernere gebied.
Dolmabahce Palace gebouwd in de 19e eeuw is een van de meest glamoureuze paleizen ter wereld. Het was het administratieve centrum van het late Ottomaanse Rijk met de laatste van de Ottomaanse sultans er verbleef. Na de stichting van de Turkse Republiek in Ankara verplaatste Mustafa Kemal Ataturk alle regeringsfuncties naar de jeugdige hoofdstad, maar tijdens zijn bezoeken aan Istanbul bezette Ataturk slechts een kleine kamer in het Dolmabahce-paleis als de zijne. Hij bleef, verwelkomde zijn buitenlandse gasten en maakte een praktisch centrum voor nationale, historische en taalcongressen en voor internationale conferenties.
Vanaf de Bosporus cruise gezien lijkt de Bosporus kustlijn aan de Europese kant op een aaneenschakeling van dorpen, elk met hun eigen karakter en attracties, en inderdaad dat is precies wat het was. Ortakoy ligt tussen nuchtere Beşiktaş en chichi Kuruçeşme en doet wat zijn naam al doet vermoeden en positioneert zich ergens in het midden (orta köy betekent ‘middendorp’ in het Turks).
Bosporusbrug, of zoals het de laatste jaren bekend is, de 15 juli martelarenbrug, samen met de Sultan Mehmedbrug, de Sultan Selimbrug is een van de beroemdste toeristische attracties in Istanbul, en het is een van de drie hangbruggen in de Bosporus. Het strekt zich uit over een lengte van 1.560 meter om verbinding te maken tussen het Europese en Aziatische continent.
Het kasteel Rumeli (Rumeli Hisarı) is een Ottomaans fort uit 1452. Het werd gebouwd door de Ottomaanse sultan Mehmed II (Mehmed de Veroveraar) als voorbereiding op de verovering van Constantinopel. Het kasteel ligt aan de oever van de Bosporusstraat op het smalste punt met ongeveer 660 meter.
Dit neobarokke paleis met 24 kamers, 6 zalen en één Turks bad werd gebouwd als zomerverblijf, een paleis voor de Ottomaanse sultans.
De Maagdentoren (Turks: Kız Kulesi ), ook bekend als Leander's Tower (Toren van Leandros) sinds de middeleeuwse Byzantijnse periode, is een toren op een klein eilandje aan de zuidelijke ingang van de Straat Bosporus, 200 m (220 yd) van de kust van de wijk Üsküdar in İstanbul. Het is een van de populairste bezienswaardigheden en monumenten van de stad, met een geschiedenis die meer dan twee millennia beslaat.

Chaotic. I never trust Viator again. Little and bad information. They have a chat at They don't answer and phones they don't answer. They changed our meeting point twice. Chaotic traffic and we arrived very fair, so we tried to talk to them directly. They wouldn't answer the phone. We went straight to the jetty and there was no boat there. We managed to figure out on our own that that ship wasn't sailing off that pier. We missed the boat, dinner and patience. The Turkish operator does not want to be responsible for the money. A disgrace

It’s just as advertised. No bad surprises. Price was right compared to others. The people on the boat worked hard to make sure you have a good time. Food was pretty good too! Great value for the price. Also, I was having a problem with the transportation and the woman from Nova was very kind and worked things out perfectly. I wish I had her name. She man’s the WhatsApp account.

A worthwhile cruise when you are in Istanbul. Food was so-so. What was entertaining was the turkish show and dance party. Overall, it was a good experience. Beware of pickpockets when you end your Bhosporus Dinner cruise. As you aligr from the ship and walk out to the pathway, avoid walking among the crowds. You will be slowed down and ppl will come very very close to u and you wont know when you get picked as you will dazzle and focus on getting to your hotel.

Very well organised cruise , nicely set table with three course dinner . Had a choice of main meal 🤙great. Could buy alcoholic drinks to make it more enjoyable.

Good show, but it didn't look good and if you got up to watch or record you were caught (the waiters all in front) , hot beer and very expensive as wine..

We didn’t see on the Viator site where we would be picked up at a pick up point. We thought they would come to our hotel. At any rate, we ubered to Taksim Square and a driver picked us up to go to the pier. The boat was newer, the food was 7 out of 10. We loved the appetizer which was an eclectic mix of Turkish bites, the fish had a lot of bones and not much flavor and the fruit was sweet and fresh. We chose the package with 2 glasses of wine each. We told Nova it was our anniversary and they gave us a great table. The entertainment was 10 out of 10. We elected to uber back to our hotel as the bus was older and filled to capacity on the way over. We preferred to go back in private transportation. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would use Nova Travel again.
