Set om 08:00 uur en reis naar de eerste werelderfgoedsite van Zuid-Afrika. Leun achterover en laat je persoonlijke ranger voor de dag je alle informatie geven over dit geweldige en ongelooflijke park. Je zult niet alleen genieten van een aantal fantastische dieren in het wild, maar ook de kans om precies te zien waarom dit park tot werelderfgoed is uitgeroepen. Je reist tijdens deze tour richting Cape Vidal met talloze luswegen, huiden en uitkijkpunten onderweg. Eenmaal aangekomen op Cape Vidal heeft u misschien de gelegenheid om te snorkelen in de beschermde baai (afhankelijk van het weer en het getij). Geniet van een speciale picknicklunch terwijl u geniet van de natuur in het park.

De eerste werelderfgoedsite van Zuid-Afrika. Het park werd in 1999 uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed en is sindsdien een van de topbestemmingen in KwaZulu Natal. Deze tour omvat een groot aantal waarnemingen, dieren in het wild en snorkelen in een beschermde baai als de omstandigheden gunstig zijn. Het is een dag van game viewing, huiden, luswegen en snorkelen. Om nog maar te zwijgen van een heerlijke picknick bij Cape Vidal.

Zama was a terrific guide and driver. He had great knowledge and plenty of experience and humour. It was a great introduction to the area.
We were collected from our St. Lucia accommodation right on time by our tour guide, Theo. He explained exactly what we were doing and gave us a brief, but detailed run-down of the park, it's history and geography. We were lucky enough to be the only guests on board, so Theo catered the tour to suit us. The vehicle was a typical 'Kruger Spec' Toyota safari vehicle, and while access was a little bit difficult for my wife (70 with a bad knee) it was excellent and extremely comfortable. We had morning tea at Catalina Bay and a delicious lunch with the monkeys a Cape Vidal. Theo was extremely personable, very knowledgable and his keen eyesight picked our animals and birds that otherwise we would have missed. I highly recommend heritage Tours and Safaris to anyone in the St. Lucia area.
We went on a half-day safari as a family, and it was really great! Our tour guide Zama was really funny, informative, showed us the best spots, and drove very well. We saw (baby) elephants, (baby) hippos, warthogs, zebras, monkeys, buffalo, etc. Strong recommendation!
We had a very nice day. Our guide Terrence was fantastic. We saw interesting frogs, a cameleon and various other animals in the park. Lunch and lunch were very good.

Our family had a great day out yesterday with Bheki as our tour guide. I would first like to mention that Bheki gets 5 stars for his great personality, gave us some good laughs and really made the trip such a great experience. Bheki was kitted out with towels for Cape vidal, as well as blankets for the trip. The blankets are definitely a wow factor when the weather is not the greatest. Loved our coffee stop at Black Rock, our lunch at Cape Vidal was 10/10 . The tide and weather wasn't the greatest so pur snorkeling experience was limited but of course we couldn't resist jumping on the ocean to at least try. Thank you to Bheki for a great family experience.

We had an amazing day, everything was well organised and taken care of. We saw a lot of animals and thanks to Sifiso, our guide who is very knowledgeable and experienced, it was even more special. The coffeestop at Cape Vidal was very nice , also was the lunch between the animals in their habitat. Also thanks to Helen who informed us on whatsapp. Sifiso, we owned the leopard, many special thanks for the great day!

Another great repeat trip to iSimangaliso Wetland Park (first was in 2025). What a joy to travel in this Wetland park with an experienced guide, Yamkele, who shared his knowledge with great enthusiasm, even on the small things, plants, insects, the little birds (LBJs). The second tour I did with Heritage Tours was to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park full day tour. I was happy to have Jabu again as my tour guide and this time I was the only one on the tour. I personally enjoyed this park much mire than the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. The landscape was flatter and you saw more flowers and birds here. The communication with Helen of Heritage Tours before arriving to St.Lucia was excellent. She started texting me while still in the Netherlands and also while in South Africa which was appreciated. I would definitely book with them again next time.

We had an incredible safari tour with Terrence! He was accommodating, knowledgeable, and absolutely hilarious — a little mischievous, just like the monkeys we saw. He made the experience feel personal, stopping whenever we wanted and pointing out small details we never would’ve noticed on our own. We saw so much wildlife and wrapped up the day with a planned stop at the beach, which was beautifully pristine and peaceful. Overall, Terrence made the entire experience unforgettable.
