Omringd door een oud bos, Ise Grand Shrine biedt een rustige en diep spirituele sfeer die veel bezoekers onvergetelijk vinden.
Okage Yokocho is een traditionele winkel straat in de buurt van Ise Grand Shrine, het creëren van de sfeer van de Edo periode. De lunch kan hier worden genuttigd als casual streetfood, dus je bent vrij om te kiezen wat je lekker vindt.
Mikimoto Pearl Island is waar gekweekte parels voor het eerst met succes werden gecreëerd. Bezoekers kunnen de geschiedenis van parels verkennen en zelfs een live Ama-duikerdemonstratie zien, die een unieke Japanse traditie laat zien.

We were lucky enough to book a tour of Ise & Toba with Mary as our tour guide. She was absolutely phenomenal!!! Mary took us through the entire itinerary without any issues while being sure to accommodate our needs. We were running late because of some issues with our cruise ship’s water shuttle system but Mary waited patiently for us and adjusted our schedule based on when we needed to re-board the ship. This was an amazing private tour with an extremely friendly and personable guide, and I could not recommend it enough. Mary made all of the transit from each point of interest stress free and was even able to find a restaurant that suited all of our party members’ unique dietary restrictions. This was a 10/10 experience with a local guide and we would absolutely do it again.

Our guide, Bruce, was fantastic. We learned so much about the Ise Shrine and the Shinto religion. He was very knowledgeable. It was great to have what essentially was a private tour as we could spend as much time as we wanted at each activity. The Mikimoto pearl island was also very interesting. I would highly recommend this tour.

Mary was very prepared and knew exactly where to take us. Wish we had more time at the market but saw everything we wanted. Pearl museum is worth the visit
