Scam Alert! People posing as porters, copy names and hotels off the boards being held up by legit taxi drivers outside the terminal building. They enter the terminal and hold up their own board with your name on it, take your luggage and attempt to run off with it. Our legit driver saw it happening, shouted out at the “porter” and cut off his way out of the car park. He took our baggage to the car. Driver said that this happens and normally if they can’t easily get away with your stuff they just take it to your car and head back to the airport to have another try. We were lucky and lost nothing. Best to avoid these guys!
<p>Pick up was waiting for us on our arrival into Iquitos with our name on a sign board for easy identification and again with our hotel pick up to go back to the aiport, they were on time and got us to the airport with plenty of time for our check in. Great service.</p>
