Dit is een diepgaande tour die ons rechtssysteem, financiële systeem, politieke relatie met China, geschiedenis en in het bijzonder - ons persoonlijke verhaal in Hong Kong bespreekt. Deze tour is bedoeld voor kenniszoekers. Voedselaanbevelingen (met specifieke winkels) en religiecultuur (bijvoorbeeld samen oefenen in de lokale tempel) zijn ook opgenomen in de tweede helft van de tour.

Bij het Hof van Definitief Beroep zult u begrijpen hoe Hongkong 50 jaar lang wordt bestuurd volgens het "One Country, Two Systems" principe tot 2047.
De architecturale krachtmeting tussen HSBC en de Bank of China, verteld door hun Feng Shui strijd om financiële dominantie.
Op het hoofdkantoor van HSBC zal uw Gids de geschiedenis achter de HSBC-bewakersleeuwen uitleggen. Hier zal uw Gids ook uitleggen hoe Hongkong zijn landschap voortdurend heeft hervormd, door landaanwinning te gebruiken om de kustlijn terug te dringen en de groei in de loop der decennia te voeden.
Neem in de rustige tuinen van de St. John's Cathedral even de tijd om meer te leren over de Britse koloniale geschiedenis van Hongkong en de uiteindelijke overgang terug naar China. Na afloop zal je Gids hun verhaal vertellen over hoe ze verbonden zijn met Hong Kong op een meer persoonlijk niveau (bijv. familiegeschiedenis).
Als u de kathedraal verlaat, loopt u langs het drukke Queen's Road om de realiteit van de lokale vastgoedmarkt te verkennen. Je leert hoe enkele van de hoogste vastgoedprijzen ter wereld het dagelijks leven van bewoners beïnvloeden, inclusief de opkomst van onderverdeelde appartementen.
Van daaruit rijden we met de Mid-Levels Roltrap — het langste overdekte roltrapsysteem ter wereld. Terwijl je naar boven reist, laat je Gids je kennismaken met de dagelijkse eetcultuur, waarbij hij je wijst op lokale hoofdgerechten zoals wontonnoedels, dim sum, BBQ-vlees, traditionele bakkerijen en cha chaan tengs (plaatselijk café).

Highly enjoyable and informative.Although I am familiar with Hong Kong culture and history, Ice Wong was able to give very good snippets of hongkong life especially sharing her personal experience.
