Je hoeft niet langer naar Afrika te gaan om op safari te gaan. Ook op de Azoren is het mogelijk om momenten van pure adrenaline te ervaren in een all-terrain voertuig. Maak je veiligheidsgordel vast, het avontuur begint door het binnenland van het eiland. De reis wordt comfortabel gemaakt in jeeps die geschikt zijn uitgerust voor het doel en in staat zijn om je naar plekken te brengen waarvan je je niet eens hebt kunnen voorstellen dat ze bestonden. we personaliseren jouw tour volgens jouw wensen en voorkeuren, beginnen met de dag sightseeing, we brengen je naar de belangrijkste uitkijkplaatsen, we gaan off-road om enkele prachtige sites te zien, dan brengen we je naar een prachtige locatie waar je lunchen in een ontspannen sfeer, je kunt rondlopen en genieten van een glas wijn of bier als je wilt, terwijl we je eten bereiden, na de lunch blijf je mooie plaatsen zien op het eiland waar maar heel weinig mensen je kunnen brengen, je zult zien het eiland aan de buitenkant en van binnenuit. we zullen je naar zoveel mogelijk plaatsen brengen om je een heel goed beeld te geven van het eiland Terceira.

Routes op secundaire wegen, die geen deel uitmaken van de gebruikelijke toeristische routes, genieten de voorkeur. Het zijn smalle, gebaande paden en worden vooral door boeren gebruikt. Ze zijn omzoomd door blauwe hortensia's (hortensia's), grote bomen of ruwe muren van basaltsteen, die de groene weiden doorsnijden. Ze leiden tot adembenemende uitzichten. Neem de tijd om onderweg te stoppen, stap uit de jeep en bekijk alle magische natuur die je omringt van dichterbij. Avontuur jezelf door het binnenland van het eiland, adembenemende uitzichten. Buitenlunch (traditioneel eten, Portugese wijn), vervolg van de tour met bezoek aan enkele verborgen plekjes.

This was the first organized day trip to the Azores for me. It was my first time on Terciera. The weather was very windy and wet for most of the day, mostly also cool a real weather experience for the Azores. For a photographer, this is of course not a thrilling weather experience because the colors simply need a minimum of sun to come into their own My guide was Dora, I hope you remember the name correctly. She knows her island as well as her apartment at home, no corner is unknown to her. It was a very flexible round trip and we agreed to take into account the current weather conditions. I was able to experience an exciting, real Azores day, of course as a photographer I have to say, also suffer, but that only makes the picture complete in terms of the Azores. I was particularly impressed by the north coast with a point where the waves break particularly attractively, which looks even more exciting in raging seas. I was also fascinated by Terceira’s first 16th century church, especially the entrance and the arches in the sacral building. Very appealing was also the included lunch with a homemade vegetable stew of excellent quality. The place for this lunch was also particularly attractive in my eyes, there is a sacred view from there and in nice weather people can sit outdoors. Maybe I will have the opportunity to take another trip in better weather with this organizer.

Very good choice if you want to get a general impression of the coast and interior of Terceira. 4x4 allows you the bonus of visiting special sites. In my case, the guide was Dora doing a fantastic job of explaining and driving all day.

We chose ProIsland Tour again and experienced a wonderful and varied day again! Antonio led us to the classic and hidden beauties of the island and told us about the island with a lot of knowledge and humor. Everywhere we had enough time to enjoy everything. We could also contribute our wishes to make the day after us. The fantastic food in between was an absolute bonus. Only small drop of vermouth - if you sit in the back of the jeep, you don't see much during the drive - but Antonio made sure that we stopped correspondingly often to see everything.

Absolutely recommended tour: we visited panoramic places and places that were difficult to reach, enjoying wonderful landscapes. Antonio was super helpful and kind, he explained a lot about the island to us and the tour ended with an excellent lunch cooked by himself.

Highly recommend this tour. We had so much fun discovering all the beauty Terceira has to offer. Antonio is a great guide - knowledgeable and put together a fantastic island tour. Lunch was wonderful too. Don’t hesitate to book this full day, 4x4 jeep tour. It was the highlight of our Terceira visit!
Carolina was an exceptional guide who was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoys sharing her love of her island home. She took us to interesting places that were off road and definitely not regular tourist sights. It was a total overview of the island and a great way to start our Azore adventures.
