Ervaar een meeslepende wandeltocht die het verhaal van Anne Frank tot leven brengt terwijl je de mooiste historische wijken van de stad verkent. We beginnen in de elegante Joodse wijk, waar rustige straatjes onthullen hoe de nazi-bezetting het dagelijks leven heeft veranderd. Uw Gids zal de machinerie van de onderdrukking ontdekken : propaganda, razzia's, en het dappere verzet dat weigerde te zwijgen. Aan de hand van levendige verhalen volg je Anne Franks vroege jaren in Amsterdam, haar liefde voor schrijven en de dromen die ze in haar dagboek goot. Je krijgt een dieper gevoel van wat het leven ondergedoken betekende : de angst, de stilte en de fragiele hoop die de wereld blijft inspireren. Onderweg bezoeken we gedenktekens en historische locaties die eer bewijzen aan degenen wier leven voorgoed is veranderd door de Holocaust, waardoor een ontroerende reis ontstaat door een van de meest bepalende hoofdstukken van Amsterdam. An excellent and deeply moving tour. Anna Eva is a fantastic guide knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Amsterdam's history. Through the story of Anne Frank and her family, we learned so much about life in Amsterdam during WWII, the history of the Jewish community in Amsterdam, and the impact of the Holocaust on the city and its people. The 2.5 hours flew by and became one of the highlights of our visit. It was also a wonderful way to help children connect with history and reflect on the values, choices, and lessons that continue to shape our world today. I found the tour very good. Even if one may already know quite a bit about Anne Frank or World War II, this tour is still very worthwhile. Ramses was our guide, and he told many smaller, partly lesser-known stories about World War II in Amsterdam and the situation of the Jews and other persecuted minorities. Best regards to the two South African women, who were also very friendly.
