Immense en adembenemende Issyk Kul-meer op 1 dag

Deze briljante 1-daagse tour is een absoluut juweeltje voor degenen die een van de mooiste meren ter wereld willen zien, maar een beperkte tijd in Kirgizië hebben. Nadat je langs het eindeloze blauwe water op het schip bent gegleden, zul je toegeven dat de afstand die je zojuist hebt afgelegd om hier te komen absoluut de moeite waard was! Vandaag trakteer je je ziel op plekken als Burana Tower en Rukh Ordo, probeer je de nationale keuken en maak je levenslange herinneringen aan het meer zelf!

In de ochtend vertrekken we voor onze reis naar het Issyk Kul-meer (230 km). Onderweg stoppen we bij de Burana-toren, die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Dit eeuwenoude bouwwerk dateert uit de 11e eeuw en is dus echt een bezoek waard. We zullen hier ongeveer 30 minuten doorbrengen met het aanschouwen van prachtige uitzichten vanaf de top van de toren, rondlopen om de balbals (oude stenen met afbeeldingen) te zien en het archeologisch museum met antieke artefacten bezoeken. We vervolgen onze weg naar Issyk Kul.
Bij aankomst in Cholpon Ata (centrale stad aan de noordkust van het meer) lunchen we in een restaurant. Nu is het tijd voor de kers op de taart: een adembenemende boottocht op het meer. Na 4 km te hebben rondgezworven, stopt het schip op een diepte van 120 meter. In het hete seizoen (mei-september) kunt u in het water duiken en genieten van een surrealistische duik (reddingsvesten aanwezig). In de andere seizoenen beleeft u een niet minder mooie tijd op het schip.
Na deze prachtige ervaring gaan we naar een andere chique plaats - spiritueel centrum Rukh Ordo dat is gewijd aan de 5 belangrijkste religies van de wereld en ook aan het Kirgizische erfgoed. Hier vindt u een grote rust van meditatie. Terugkerend naar Bisjkek.
We komen rond 20.00-21.00 uur aan in de stad en na de mooie dag vol ervaringen zul je zo aangenaam moe zijn. Daar eindigt onze tour. U wordt afgezet bij uw hotel. Goede nacht!

Was not expecting Burana Tower to be so fascinating, but it was! Our guide, Baiel was very knowledgeable and helpful. Driving to the lake was through beautiful scenery, and swimming in the lake is a must! Be prepared for a long day but the car was very comfortable and the driver was safe. Lunch was very tasty.

Trust the title of being indeed an immensely and breathtaking trip. We went to Burana tower in the early morning which is wisely planned as there was a long line of queue trying to get up the tower when we about to leave. The boat ride allowed us to get a view of Tien shan mountains from the turquoise lake,issky kul lake. I regretted I didn't bring my swim suit and missed the once in a lifetime experience of swimming while looking at Tien shan mountain. I was worried the water would be too cold but apparently it's above 15C. Overall,the ride was very comfy. Driver Mr Ray is an experienced driver and the guide Mr Bek is a cheerful and helpful chap who speaks perfect English.
