Wroclaw is een unieke, prachtige plek met de verbazingwekkende geschiedenis. Sinds 2007, toen ik begon met gidsen, merkte ik dat mensen graag naar mijn WW2-verhalen luisteren. Op deze tour zie je alle hoogtepunten van de oude binnenstad, maar verhalen die de gids met je zal delen, hebben betrekking op het nazi-tijdperk en belegeringstijd. Het beleg van Wroclaw was een zeer dramatische en speciale tijd. Deze stad gaf 4 dagen na Berlijn op, dus het verhaal is echt fascinerend. Doe mee met mijn tour!

De tour begint bij Monopol Hotel
Vervolgens lopen we naar de plek waar vroeger De Nieuwe Synagoge werd vernietigd in 1938. Je zult ook het Gestapo-gebouw zien.
De volgende stop is op het Wolności-plein, waar u meer te weten komt over het begin van het nazi-tijdperk in Duitsland
Deze heeft de oorlog overleefd en bevindt zich in het hart van het Joodse district in de stad. Ik zal je verhalen vertellen over lokaal Joods erfgoed en holocaust.
Op het hoofdplein hoor je meer over het dagelijks leven onder het nazi-regime en enkele verhalen over Festung Breslau en de vernietiging van de stad

This was both nformative and interesting, not only about the experiences of the people of Breslau (now Wlochlaw) in WW2 but also providing detailed stories of the siege itself and the extraordinary resilience of the population, plus the wider tragic fate of the Jewish people, It made me ponder as to what I would have done faced with such a situation. This tour is highly recommended.
Well paced walking trip taking us to areas we had not yet seen. Guide was very knowledgeable and introduced us to some fascinating topics. We left with an interest and enthusiasm to read further.
We covered many points of interest led by a guide who was amazing in his knowledge. This is his city and he loves it. He kept us on the move and you have to hustle at times, but then ample time was taken at each site to cover thoroughly. He always sure things were clear for the group and welcomed questions. Nice if he did this tour more than M-W-F. Highly recommended!

Really good tour if you’re interested in the history of Wroclaw during WWII. I learned a lot about what happened here before, during and after WWII. Michal was vey good. He knows his history of the area.
Michał Filarowski is an excelent guide. The trip was initially scheduled to 1PM, however he had to change to 2PM, which was actually good, because at 1PM was raining. He knows most of the city and WW2 backgound. If you are keen in history, this is a must do trip.
I enjoyed the tour and being able to walk around the city while being able to see with my own eyes what happened at or near each spot. The guide was excellent, funny and helpful.

This was a great walking tour with an awesome tour guide. He answered all questions with hesitation and provided great insight to the time and changes due to WWII
