Rondleiding door het Vogelpark en de watervallen van Iguazu

Het Park van de Vogels in Foz do Iguaçu is een heiligdom met meer dan 1.300 exemplaren van 150 soorten en biedt een immersieve ervaring in de natuur. Bezoekers wandelen langs paden omringd door weelderige weilanden en kijken van dichtbij naar exotische vogels, zoals tucans en araras. De watervallen van Iguacu, een van de Nieuwe Zeven Natuurwonderen, betoveren met zijn indrukwekkende watervallen, met een totaal van 275 sprongen. Het park biedt trottoirs die een spectaculair uitzicht bieden. Samen onthullen deze bestemmingen de rijke biodiversiteit en de natuurlijke schoonheid van de regio.

De dag begint met de transfer tussen de hotels, met pick-ups gepland tussen 07:30 en 08:10 uur. Daarna is er een korte stop bij Chocolate Caseiro (souvenirwinkel) van 30 minuten.
Na de stop ga je op weg naar de Iguazu watervallen, aan de Braziliaanse kant, waar je de grootsheid van de natuur kunt bewonderen. De Macuco Safari vindt plaats zodra je aankomt in het park. Dit wordt gevolgd door een *ecologisch parcours* (duur te bepalen volgens de groep), waardoor je nog meer ondergedompeld wordt in de lokale natuur. Na de trail neemt de groep een pauze voor een *lunch* in het Porto Canoas restaurant met uitzicht op de Iguassu rivier.
In de namiddag brengen passagiers die voor deze activiteit hebben gekozen een bezoek aan het Vogelpark, dat onmiddellijk na de rondleiding bij de watervallen plaatsvindt.

Regelmatig vervoer gedeeld met andere passagiers, vertrek vanaf hotels in Foz do Iguaçu. Je gids ontmoet je in de lobby van het hotel. Een preciezere aankomsttijd in je hotel zal de dag ervoor worden doorgegeven. Gelieve 10 minuten voor de aangegeven tijd in de lobby van het hotel aanwezig te zijn.

The place is very beautiful, very large and full of vegetation, it has birds from everywhere and functions as a sanctuary for birds that have been captive, injured, or mistreated. It is very much worth it. The toucans are beautiful, the blue, red, green, and yellow macaws are incredible, there is a harpy eagle (endangered), there is everything. The souvenirs are of good quality and cute.
Everything excellent. It is a great experience that I would do again.

The guide is basically a driver. I did not see any advantage in hiring this service, it is better to pick up a hotel uber (and be able to be more informative). He took us first to a souvenir store focusing on chocolates (and basically things you’ll see in the bird park shops and also in the waterfalls). The company's focus seems to be selling the macuco safari experience. Several delays (maybe caused by the maintenance that is being done on the road between the birds park and the cataract - we did this path on foot, including) and little communication, the guide was not la in the agreed times to meet, always appeared five minutes late and still had to go hunting the rest of the group that had not yet arrived. Anyway, I would like it to be better organized, both parks are beautiful and have a very good structure.

Truly a great tour! Iguazú falls is a must see and the tour was a perfect day for the Brazilian side. You MUST do the boat ride! Our tour guide was amazing and super friendly

Saw a veriety of bird species. They are cared for well. I saw many birds which were exotic and I had never seen before. Some common birds were also visible. All that left a very pleasant feeling.

Amazing! The whole experience is incredible. The waterfalls from the brazilian side in my opinion are better because lf the amazing panoramic views. I would recommend 10000% to book the Macacu safari experience, it just elevated the whole experience.
