The performance lasted just the right amount of time and kept the audience entertained from beginning to end. The performers were fantastic and it was great to experience some Fado music. However there was loud music coming from a stage outside for about 15mins of the performance which really detracted from the atmosphere. The venue either needs soundproofing better or liasing with other performances taking place in the area. It was a shame because the performance was otherwise beautiful and evocative

On that particular evening, a FIFA World Cup match was being broadcast on a giant outdoor screen near our venue. I really enjoyed listening to this style of music typical of Portugal. It seemed obvious to me upon arriving in Porto that I had to discover Fado! It is part of Portuguese culture, and even though I did not understand the songs, I felt the emotion that emanated from the voices and the music. It was very beautiful! Thank you to the singers and musicians, as well as to the young woman at the reception. The glass of Porto was a nice addition.

An interesting evening to discover the "nostalgic" soul of Portugal. A well-kept venue in the city center with a cozy and welcoming character. At the entrance, a tasting of Port wine is provided to accompany the listening of the artists, which takes place in respectful and complete silence. The duration of the performances is one hour. This experience is recommended if you are curious to learn a little about this reality, aware that due to the very nature of Fado, it will be a moment of reflection and contemplation, not of joy and noise. The experience at this club was very positive, and I definitely recommend it.
