Eet het iconische eten van Calgary in het hart van de binnenstad tijdens deze volledig begeleide tour. Absorbeer levendige verhalen over de geschiedenis, kunst en cultuur van de blauwe luchtstad terwijl je 4 combinaties van eten en drinken proeft op geweldige locaties in het hart van de culinaire wereld van de stad. Geniet van een gemakkelijke wandel- en proeverijreis van 1,5 kilometer en verken het gevarieerde voedselaanbod in een tijdsbestek van 2,5 uur. Er zullen 2 hartige en 2 zoete proeverijen zijn. De geliefde Grande Dame van Calgary Hotels, The Fairmont Palliser, verankert de tour met een demo van de chef-kok en drie proeverijen plus een recept om mee naar huis te nemen. Vanaf daar wandelt u door de historische Stephen Avenue voor nog een verzadigende hartige proeverij, gevolgd door een stop bij een eersteklas chocolademaker van bonen tot reep voordat u afsluit met een bevredigend dessert.

We had an amazing tour. Karen was extremely knowledgeable about all things food in Calgary and elsewhere! Having the chef prepare some of the food at the table and talking with the owner of another restaurant on the tour were wonderful touches. Highly recommend!

This was a great way to learn more about Calgary. We enjoyed all four stops. The walking was minimal so that may matter so some participants.

Nicole was by far one of the best guides we have ever had on a foodie tour. I met Lisa and the group at the Fairmont Palliser in the restaurant. It was a good-sized group of 10. There was a demonstration which was awesome and a healthy amount of information shared. After the second stop, I was full, but couldn't refuse dessert at the fourth and final stop. Lisa introduced us to Annex Saskatoon Lemonade, which I picked up later from the grocery store to try. This tour had less stops than I'm used to, but the portions were larger and alcohol was included. Every stop was intentional and I learned a lot. I even made a friend. I hope to do the Farmers Market tour when I return.

This was the best food tour I have ever been on. Lisa was extremely knowledgeable not only about the food, but the history and culture. We made five stops in 2 1/2 hours and I did not feel rushed. It really was a full meal with all of the different tastings.

Karen was an excellent guide and she was full of knowledge regarding the history of Calgary. I'm a long time Calgary resident and I learned lots from her. The restaurants were excellent. The best part of the tour was the Palliser and the Hawthorne Dining Room.
