Begin uw reis met een bezoek aan Oia, het meest gevierde dorp van het eiland en een van 's werelds meest gefotografeerde locaties. Wandel over de betoverende smalle paden, bewonder de iconische blauwkoepelkapellen en bewonder de traditionele witgekalkte huizen die sierlijk genesteld zijn tussen de rotsachtige kliffen.
Ga verder naar Firostefani, een charmant dorpje grenzend aan de bruisende hoofdstad Fira, bekend om zijn adembenemende uitzicht op de vulkaan en de caldera. Geniet van het landschap en leg het typische beeld vast van de kerk met blauwe koepels, omlijst tegen de vulkanische achtergrond - een iconisch gezicht dat is vereeuwigd in talloze afbeeldingen van het eiland.
Trek zuidwaarts naar de historische vuurtoren Akrotiri, een van de oudste van Griekenland, die dateert uit 1892. Hier kunt u zich onderdompelen in de eindeloze uitgestrektheid van het diepblauwe water van de Egeïsche Zee.
Vlakbij vindt u een van de meest bijzondere natuurwonderen van het eiland: het Rode Strand. Deze opvallende kustlijn, versierd met levendige rode vulkanische kliffen, is niet te missen. Maak onvergetelijke foto's en bewonder het ruige vulkanische landschap.
Ervaar vervolgens het contrast van Perivolos, het beroemde zwarte zandstrand van het eiland dat geliefd is bij de lokale bevolking. Geniet van zwemmen en snorkelen in het kristalheldere water van de Egeïsche Zee. Het gebied beschikt over tal van strandbars waar u kunt ontspannen op gehuurde ligbedden of genieten van een ontspannen lunch aan zee. Stijg op naar het Profeet Elias Klooster, het hoogste punt van het eiland. Santorini Island Tour did not disappoint! Starting with our wonderful driver/guide Xenofon Creview, who was absolutely incredible. As someone who is from Santorini, Xeno is very knowledgeable about the history, the people and their culture. Need to all so salut his excellent driving skills along the narrow, crowded streets. He took us to the most incredible vistas on all sides of the Island, we enjoyed some very good wine at a Winery with a stunning of the sea, topped off with a delicious lunch on the longest black sand beach in the world. Our visit to Santorini definitely exceeded our expectations and created lasting memories.

Our guide was Evans Merkouris - from the time he received us at the airport till we depart from Santorini - he was ever cheerful, respectful friendly, informative & responsive to our queries & requests. He was respectful of our halal dietary needs & gave us options to select which we enjoyed very much. He also took us to very iconic & "secret" spectacular viewing points of the caldera, & the villages not only in Fira & Oia but also the other villages.
