De schoonheid van het ontwerp van Central Park is of je nu een uur of een hele dag hebt. ● Begin de dag op 59th street (Columbus Circle) ● Bezoek de Bethesda-fontein om het beroemde beeld Angel of the Waters en het prachtige betegelde plafond van de Bethesda Terrace Arcade te zien. ● Geniet van een moment op de iconische Bow Bridge - een van de meest romantische en gefotografeerde kenmerken van Central Park - met een prachtig uitzicht op de skyline van NYC en de roeiboten die over het meer glijden. ● Mis de kans niet om mee te zingen in Strawberry Fields en het John Lennon "Imagine" Memorial, en steek dan de straat over naar het Dakota-gebouw. ● Geniet van het uitgestrekte uitzicht en sluit vriendschap met de schildpadden in het schilderachtige Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. ● Stop en PICKNICK. Geniet van het water langs The Pool (een watermassa, geen zwembad) voordat je de verborgen watervallen in de buurt gaat verkennen.

It was not a Segway scooter that was on the website and there was no possibility to lock the scooter.
Website stated locks and baskets for water etc., but there were none. Do had to hand carry water bottles while tying to drive scooter. Not safe.
Decided we wanted to see more of Central Park so by hiring scooters we knew we could get round quicker. I had found the business on Trip Advisor but we went on the day and were able to take scooters away there and then but it was cold and not busy. The company were relaxed and the kit (bikes and scooters) looked well cared for. We were provided with a map of where the key things were to see in Central Park. They outlined that the top of the Park was hilly and there wasn’t much to see up there but we went anyway to do the full loop of the park. We hired for 2 hours which is plenty to get round the park fully and stop and look at some of the views/key sights. A few points to note: - You need to be 16 to hire a scooter - Watch out in the Park as there are some routes which are one way only and there are lots of rickshaw bikes
Absolutely loved it and the guy helping us was just epic! Great introduction to a otter life and a very patient tutor hahaha! Honestly if you can book with them xx
Easy to book online. The two guys (Ahmed and Ohmad?) were so nice and helpful getting me and my teenage son situated with our bike and e-scooter. I didn’t get the owner’s name, but he was also so nice and gave us a bit extra time. We reserved for 3 hours and explored Central Park and went to Bryant Park. Highly recommend the e-scooters. Such a fun way to explore the city! Highly recommend.
We rented electric scooters from Cycle Park NYC and had a great time! A bike or scooter is definitely the way to see the whole park in a few hours. Scooters worked great and we were provided helmets. Also a good value as price was less than what’s available at the park entrance.
