Adam guided us through five different experiences in Osaka visiting local Izakaya venues. Some of the best Chicken Karaage we’ve had. Adam also provided an interesting and colourful commentary on the tour reflecting not only the vibrant food scene but also the cultural history behind the veil of Japan. It was part of our first trip to Japan and we can thoroughly recommend a night out with Adam.

We had an amazing experience on this food tour in Osaka! It was a fantastic way to discover the city through its delicious food and local culture. We visited several different places and tried a great variety of traditional Osaka dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious. Our guide Matt was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We also learned interesting facts about Osaka, its food culture, and local traditions along the way. Everything was very well organized and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka. A wonderful experience!

I also enjoyed meeting the people who were in the group with me. They were fun to talk to and experience this tour with. We went on this tour in August with Matt as our guide and it was the highlight of our time in Osaka! The tour included five different stops with a variety of food and drink at each stop. (All food and three alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks were included in the price so great value for money!) All of the food we tried was absolutely delicious and proper local specialties! The tour companies has a strong relationship with the local business we visited creating a great atmosphere and friendly service. You will not leave hungry!! Matt was very friendly and gave us the history of Osaka and interesting facts on our journey. He made the trip friendly and interactive making the tour feel like a trip out with friends! A great experience for everyone, couples, families or solo travellers. A must do on your trip to Osaka. Thank you Matt!!

We had lots of fun and lots of food on this tour! Tim was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, full of fun facts and pleasure to be around. We tried so many different dishes and had some drinks as well, it was a great way to see Osaka on our first night here. Even the kids like the food! Highly recommend!

Our guide, Davin, showed us a wonderful evening - touring the streets of Shinsekai, telling us the history of the location and about Japanese culture in general, and taking us to several local restaurants where we tasted a variety of local specialties and traditional foods, as well as an assortment of drinks. We especially enjoyed that Davin went beyond the normal tour guide experience by sharing a lot of his personal experiences in Japan. It was an enthralling experience and we were definitely full by the end of the evening. Definitely recommended!

We went with our two teen/tween kids and had a wonderful time! Tim was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide and treated us to so many Osaka delights. It was a ton of food! And so delicious. Really such a great value for the money and so much fun.

Having been living in Japan for the past couple years, I went into this tour thinking it'd eat some Osaka food and hang out while tuning out the guide or rolling my eyes at boilerplate facts about Osaka. Instead, I was treated to stellar foods, some of which I hadn't even heard of before, while also getting an engaging blend of historical, cultural and linguistic facts. At the core of the tour, you can tell that Davin cares and it makes the whole experience feel so genuine. From what I could tell, he has taken the time to build relationships with the restaurants he takes you to, often talking to and helping out the staff. The information he relays is all off the cuff, never did I feel like he was reading off a script or that he saw his role as a chore. He strove to engage and react to what the members of the tour were asking about and interested in, often following up on topics throughout the night, while also ensuring that everyone was equally attended to. The foods were also well chosen and sequenced. I had more than enough to eat while also feeling that the night had a good cadence to it. I could go on and on but I'll just end by saying if you want a tour that feels like your best friend is enthusiastically showing you his favorite places around Osaka, I can't recommend this one enough.
