Volledige dagtour naar Humahuaca en Hornocal
Beschrijving
We vertrekken vanuit de stad Salta en rijden noordwaarts langs de Nationale Route 9. We passeren de buitenwijken van San Salvador de Jujuy om de Quebrada de Humahuaca, het culturele en natuurlijke erfgoed van de mensheid, binnen te gaan. De eerste stad die we zullen bezoeken is Purmamarca, een typisch stadje met een veelkleurige kermis op het centrale plein, lemen huizen, de kerk van Sta Rosa de Lima en de spectaculaire Cerro de los Siete Colores. De volgende stad die we bezoeken is Maimará, waar we de kleuren van het Schilderspalet kunnen bewonderen. In Tilcara maken we een stadstour en in Huacalera zien we de monoliet met de legende Steenbokskeerkring en zijn symbool. In Humahuaca lunchen we en kun je het Monument voor de Inca, Helden van de Onafhankelijkheid, bewonderen. Ten slotte bezoeken we de Serranía del Hornocal (heuvel van 14 kleuren) waar "Mijn meesterwerk" werd gefilmd. Het is het einde van het Krijt, toen de laatste dinosaurussen 75 miljoen jaar geleden leefden.

We vertrekken om 6.30 uur vanaf ons kantoor richting National Route 9, passeren buiten Jujuy totdat we het Humahuaca-ravijn bereiken.
We stoppen in Purmamarca om een panoramische foto te maken en je hebt 30 minuten vrije tijd in de stad.
We stoppen om de stad Tilcara te bezoeken, een paar kilometer van Purmamarca

Great experience visiting Humahuaca and Hornocal. The guide was David, who with his sense of humor contributed a lot to make the tour even better.
That's exactly how I would describe this company. Hornocal gave us 15-20 minutes to visit the peak with 14 flowers, not counting the lines for photos. That was barely enough time to take photos. Instead, they repeatedly persuade you, over and over again, to go to a strange market where they sell all sorts of rags as souvenirs. It's sad.
We hired an agency that referred us to take the Humahuaca tour with Hornocal through this agency. Honestly, we had a fantastic time! In the morning, they picked us up on time and offered us coffee while we waited to depart. Our driver was Charly and the guide was Maria. We had a really great time, we explored everything, and we were lucky to follow the itinerary and see everything planned. The time was sufficient to visit, eat, shop, and take photos. All the recommendations were helpful, they assisted us with the altitude and everything!! Geniuses! Additionally, guide Maria shared super interesting facts along the way and was always friendly and open to questions. Charly drives very well! We hardly felt the curves of the road and the altitude, which is staggering for someone from Córdoba! We recommend them!! Thank you for making us have a dream day. We will return, and without a doubt, next time we will hire directly with Parada Norte!
