Hue Countryside Tour By Scooter

We organised to have a custom tour organised as we had done a few things the year before. The ladies took us to some hidden gems and we got to hear about their life and experiences in Hue. The kids loved their time on the scooters and felt very safe. Would recommend!

We had an amazing scooter tour with Anh and her colleague! Both of them were not only incredibly kind and friendly, but also very knowledgeable about the history of the pagodas around Hue. Throughout the entire tour, they shared so many interesting facts and stories, making every stop even more meaningful. We also really enjoyed the lunch together — it was a lovely moment to relax, talk, and learn even more about local culture. It was a perfect balance of exploration, history, and warm conversation. Highly recommended if you want an authentic and memorable experience in Hue!

Big thanks to Nhan and Hoa, we had a great time! The two were super friendly and accomodating, they took very good care of us. We had a really relaxing tour and felt safe all the time. They took us to some cool spots outside the city, gave us interesting information about history and everyday life. We particularly enjoyed the places they choose for lunch and afternoon coffee were we had great talks with the two. If you want to support local young women while having a fun time this is your choice.

This was an excellent trip. Anh arrived at my homestay in Hue and took me first to a cafe where we sat and drank Vietnamese salty coffee with locals. She drove me on the back of her scooter. Weaving in and out of the traffic, I felt completely safe with her. Then we went to the Thanh Toan Bridge, a delightful place out of town where locals come to sit and chat and relax. We went to several places out of town that I wouldn't otherwise have been able to visit. We ended up in a lovely restaurant for lunch (included). Anh was a delightful guide, very informative, and safe driver.

We booked the city day tour and had a private tour as we were the only ones. Our two guides were extremely friendly, funny and helpful. The ride was very pleasant and safe. The scooters were comfortable, better than the ones you can rent anywhere. We have seen and learned extremely much, and also sk some things that are not on the 0815 tourist schedule. They were also very interested in our lives in Europe It was a great time and we recommend the tour to anyone who wants to experience something special.

This was a great tour into Hue countryside. A local village market where exchange of goods still takes place - vegetables/fruit for fish/pork. The knowledge of the guides cultural history of Vietnam was impressive as well as the local knowledge made this tour a “stand out”. The beautiful walking bridge made from wood and ceramics was lovely and had the classic story to match (similar to the walking bridge in Hoi An). We scootered through the rice paddies and watched everyday chores being done with the local people. We found our way up the mountain through the incense village and to a popular picnic spot for locals. A popular thing to do in our home town as well. A beautiful view down to the Perfume River where the dragon boats chugged past. The guides kept up informed of what happened up on the mountain throughout the years. Finally, we stopped at the local Pagoda which was simply stunning. The monks were chanting, locals meditating, all the animals seemed to be more alive with the sounds of cicadas nearly deafening and fish so big they were nearly jumping out of the ponds. Lunch was at a vegetarian restaurant and was super delicious. This is a bucket list tour and you must do it with Nahn and Anh. Thank you girls so much.

I had the most lovely scooter tour today with Nhàn. I was lucky enough to get a solo private tour and the personal attention that came from it was amazing. It was like hanging out with a friend who was also able to give me a bit of history and scoot me along on her motorbike. The sites were all exceptionally and I couldn’t imagine trying to get from one place to another on my own. Scootering was the way to go as you could really take everything in and it felt much more personal than a private car just taxiing me from place to place. As a solo female traveler, I also had a sense of ease having another female driver as my guide. My only regret is that I didn’t have time to also sign up for the food tour that she also leads.

A few days ago I did a street food/city tour with these guys and it was so great I decided to book the countryside tour as well. They were really helpful in deciding an itinerary that suited (as I had already seen some of the main attractions in Hue). Despite the absolutely pouring rain, I had a wonderful time touring villages, markets and tombs with my incredible guide Phúc. She has so much passion and knowledge about her city, it was a real pleasure to learn from her and her love of her home and culture is inspiring. She took me for the best salt coffee in town (delicious), for lunch and went out of her way to find a shop that would sell me a padlock for my suitcase (mine had broken the night before). I would not have enjoyed my time in Hue half as much without the company and guidance of Phúc and would highly recommend her tour(s) for anyone considering a visit to Hue.

Guide was very polite and even took the time to show me some things off the beaten track overall am very satisfied and learnt a lot on this tour.
