Thien Mu-pagode: Dit is de oudste pagode in de stad Hue. Het is een van de meest sfeervolle en pittoreske plekken in de voormalige keizerlijke hoofdstad.
De Citadel staat bekend als een van de zeven UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocaties van Vietnam en is lange tijd een must-see attractie geweest voor toeristen die een verborgen charme van Vietnam bezoeken. De keizerlijke stad Hue was eigenlijk een ommuurd fort en een paleis dat toebehoorde aan de oude stad Hue, die 140 jaar lang de hoofdstad was van de Nguyen-dynastie en dateert van 1805 tot 1945.
Het keizerlijke graf van keizer Tu Duc is een architectonisch complex dat een oppervlakte van 12 hectare beslaat en in het interieur bevinden zich 50 gebouwen tussen paleizen en paviljoens. De bouw van de Tomb Imperial duurde 3 jaar en de keizerlijke tombe van Hue past het beste bij de natuur eromheen.
In vergelijking met die van de voorgaande keizer is het graf van Khai Dinh King aan de oppervlakte veel kleiner, maar zeer uitgebreid. Het is het resultaat van de vermenging van vele architecturale trends: Europees en Aziatisch, maar ook oud en modern.
Minh Mang King's Tomb: Minh Mang is de 2e koning van de Nguyen-dynastie. Zijn tombe is een standaard architectonisch complex bestaande uit 40 constructies (paleizen, tempels, paviljoens, enz.) ontworpen op een symmetrische as die loopt van de Dai Hong-poort tot de voet van La Thanh (omringende muur) achter het graf van de keizer.
Een Dinh-paleis waar de Khai Dinh-keizer leefde van een kind tot hij de twaalfde keizer van de Nguyen-dynastie werd als privéwoning.Tussen 1917-1919 werd Nguyen Phuc Vinh Thuy (later Bao Dai Keizer) gerenoveerd in een moderne stijl en werd officieel de residentie.
Tu Hieu pagode bekend als de beroemde "wortel pagode" van Zen meester Thích Nhất Hạnh, Từ Hiếu Pagode is niet alleen een plek voor de monniken om een ontwakend leven te leiden, maar ook voor iedereen die wenst om een serene oase te vinden om te ontsnappen aan het drukke leven of om meditatio te leren

I contacted the company ahead of time to ask about an airport pickup, and they arranged it for a very reasonable price. The driver was waiting for us when we arrived. The next morning, our tour guide picked us up exactly at the agreed time and took us to all the places we had discussed beforehand. I would recommend this company if you want to explore specific sights in Hue.

An excellent and professional company to deal with! For our day tour, I WhatsApp'ed them the places we were interested in seeing and they very quickly came back with a very reasonable price for a private tour starting with a dragon boat trip along the Perfume River to Thien Mi Pagoda on to Khai Dinh Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb and Minh Mang Tomb. Our guide for the day -Duy - was brilliant! He had so much knowledge to share on each location, but also added in little stops at the incense village and a local coffee shop (for delicious salted coffee) that weren't a scheduled part of the tour and gave us some local restaurant recommendations too. I'd highly recommend Hue Friendly Cars and Duy if in the area
We did a hoi an a hue excursion, our driver was called Hai, he was a lovely person, he drove very well and stopped us at all the places we asked him. I would repeat without hesitation. Not only was the transfer from Hoi an to Hue but we saw the mountains of marble the Buddha lady and the tombs of Hue, Hai explained many things to us in the car and gave us good advice, plus as he saw that he did not understand well in English I use the translator so that I could better understand his explanations , it is a driver who I score with a 10 .
We had a great time on our taxi tour of Hue. Our driver was very good—he was friendly and professional, spoke very good English, and shared interesting details about the city and its culture. He was very thoughtful, always having cold water ready for us after we finished each stop. We really appreciated his service and would recommend this company to anyone visiting Hue.
We met Tommy by chance at the train station, and it turned out to be the best decision we made. He took us to all the places we wanted to see and waited patiently while we explored. During lunchtime, he recommended a cozy local spot that served tasty traditional dishes, and we really enjoyed the meal. Friendly, polite, and very funny! A must-have guide for your Hue visit.
